So S2 is coming in March! And as excited as we all are, I’m sure we’re all sad that it means that older prompts on the meme might just get forgotten about. So, this challenge is designed to keep us all inspired for the next couple of months, highlight the very best prompts on the meme for newbies and people who come post-S2 and want to get in the wayback machine, and just be fun for everyone!

There are multiple ways to participate in this challenge, even if you’re only a reader or lurker!

1. NOMINATE PROMPTS AND DISCUSS NOMINATIONS

This challenge is about discovering the hidden gems, forgotten about favourites, and most talked about, inspiring ideas hidden in the 6,000+ prompts on this meme and distilling them down to the favourites, the best of the best.

You must choose only one category even if it fits into multiple categories (so an AU doesn’t have to go into the AU category, or an Ableism prompt doesn’t have to go there but can be considered hurt/comfort, for example). You don’t have to be the OP of the original prompt. You can nominate as many prompts as you’d like in as many categories as you’d like.

How does your nomination rise to the top?

Well, if it’s the only one in its category, it’s the winner by default. But if it’s not, a points system will be applied as follows:

1 point - each brief comment seconding the nomination (+1, seconded, *camping out*, etc.)
2 points - each additions to the prompt (suggestions on what could happen, conversation even if it veers OT that’s related, etc.) and comments on those additions
3 points - each mini-fill completed on the fill under 1000 words

This applies only to the new repost thread. What does this mean? Encourage people to second your nomination! And second others nominations if you want them to win too! We want to ensure that the prompts that win are the ones that everyone is really excited to see filled.

If it gets filled, fantastic! It will be disqualified from being nominated, but everyone’s happy because someone filled it! :D

2. SIGN UP AS A WRITER OR MULTIMEDIA FILLER

We are looking for writers, fan artists, or other multimedia artisans willing to commit to participating in the challenge from February 1 - March 15th.

The sign-up deadline is January 31, 2015. To sign up, click here to indicate the name you would like to use for the challenge (which does not have to be your fandom name) and the categories you are most interested in filling for and provide your email address to the challenge mod. If you are contributing something besides writing, indicate what that is as well.

Don’t take the list above as limiting. Any other suggested creative contribution (in case there’s someone out there who crochets or does flash animations or something) would also be welcomed.

You can state that you wish to write AND provide another kind of fill if you’re willing to fill a prompt in more than one category.

On February 1st, 21 winning prompts will be announced, one in each category. The prompts will be first come-first serve, with one writer and one multimedia filler being able to claim each one here on the meme. You can choose to write more than one fill for more than one category if you want. Fillers working on the same prompt are encouraged to be collaborative.

Written fills must be a minimum of 2500 words.
The deadline for all fills is March 15, 2015.

Once the prompts are all claimed, the fillers working on them will be announced to the kink meme community and there will be an open discussion area here on that prompt so that people can encourage you as you write, including offers to beta, new ideas or thoughts, and general cheerleading.

3. GENERAL CHEERLEADING AND WORD-SPREADING!

For this challenge to be successful, we need to bring back some people who may have left the kink meme or who may not realize one of their prompts is being boosted. We need to encourage writers and other fillers not just to sign up, but also to finish their fills. We may need pinch hitters and betas and additional organizers to catalogue the prompts nominated, etc. Primarily, we just need an active group of people willing to keep this meme and this challenge interesting.

So please spread the word even if you’re not participating, here and on Tumblr and in whatever fandom space you’re in with Daredevil fandom! And encourage the great conversations and community on this meme who make it what it is! This challenge is for everyone, and so we hope you all participate and enjoy it.

Prompt Details: Because there has been a sad decrease in the number of Fratt prompts lately...

We all know how Matt was held at Ryker's penitentiary while he awaited his trial over being suspected of being Daredevil (and if you don't, go read DD v2 right now). And we know how Frank got himself thrown in when he found out just to save Matt from becoming a murderer like him.

But how would it play out if they were in a relationship at the time? In the comics Frank mostly stays out of Matt's way inside the prison, while Matt deals with defending himself against any attacks from other convicts looking for retaliation against Daredevil. Would Frank protect him instead, making it clear to the other convicts that Matt is absolutely off-limits?

Basically I just want an AU in which Frank shows up before any serious attacks are made on Matt and protects him, so Matt can (mostly) keep up his innocent blind lawyer façade until either Matt's trial or until they can hatch an escape plan. The others hear them having sex in Frank's cell, so they assume that he has taken Matt as his prison bitch. Matt is happy to let Frank do all the muscle work, but draws the line at letting him kill anyone.

But of course we all know how bad Matt is keeping his identity secret. As soon as anyone attacks Frank or tries to seriously hurt him (not that Frank needs any real help), Matt is there to beat the fuck out of them, fuck the plan and fuck his secret ID. No one hurts his bae. Cue everyone realizing that oh shit, this guys /is/ Daredevil, and being more afraid of him than Frank.

Bonus points for:
- Hot prison sex (always)
- Frank and Matt being actually married, or at least in a stable relationship. Someone going 'holy shit, the bitch has gone crazy!' when Matt starts flipping tables over Frank being attacked, and Matt ending the fight with 'I'm his husband/boyfriend you dipshit' or something along those lines before knocking them out because seriously, how could they have missed the rings? (Because badass husbands/bfs who kick ass together give me life)
- People being even more afraid of Matt once they realize they attacked his hubby/boyfriend/other. Matt loving every second of it because good, they should be.

Would them fucking in prison be out of pure frustration/life-affirming/'I still love you' or also an element of possessive, exhibitionist, 'you think you're scared of the Punisher now? Wait until you hurt my husband', 'Matt Murdock is *mine* to bite and leave marks on'?

How about both? Both is good.

And if Matt's pretending to be a helpless blind guy, Frank can of course manhandle him, hold him up by the waist onto his cock, making him flail around and squirm, put Matt in whatever position he wants, push his knees behind his ears, his ankles straight up, make his pretty bendy lawyer whine and beg for it instead of before-sex sparring, talk about how much bigger he is than Matt, how he'll protect him forever...

And he keeps Matt close to him at all times, pressed to his side, inside the crook of his arm. Maybe Matt makes a point of hanging onto Frank as well, because obviously he can't find his own way around without his cane or any other assistive devices.

And whenever Matt gets anywhere near any obstacle, Frank tells him softly what it is, runs a hand through Matt's hair, his hand coming down to gently cup his ass, make him squeak...

Meanwhile Matt is listening in on everyone's prison conversations, detecting plans, because he can afford to just let Frank guide him and not use his senses for that part at the moment

Sometimes if there's something really interesting he'll signal Frank, and Frank might sit Matt down nearby, tell him not to move while he picks a fight to remind everyone how dangerous the Punisher is, or just sit down himself and play with his pretty blind lawyer-toy.

Everyone else pretty quickly learns that if the Punisher and his pretty bitch suddenly stop walking to either get the ENTIRE fuck out of there before the Punisher starts tearing out throats or get a good seat to watch the Punisher so utterly dominate the lawyer-toy, make him scream and beg and writhe, helpless, completely unable to fight back even if he wanted to

And they're never certain which it's going to be, not until he either sits down himself, or puts his pretty bitch to one side. Sometimes you can guess, if there's some idiot who's been a bit too obvious about looking at the blind boy, but not always.

I wonder how that affects their reputations and such. Seems like it's one thing to have a bitch, but another to actually have a relationship/be into men
Like obviously anyone who thinks 'The Punisher's a [beep], we can take him down easy!' Is in for a surprise

I don't know, I have a feeling that in a lot of cultures if a guy's on top it isn't seen as gay on his end. A lot of macho men seem to think it's only gay if you're the one being penetrated.

So of course the Punisher's possessive of his bitch - the pretty lawyer belongs to him after all.

Re-read the prompt, that makes more sense. I forgot that Matt was assumed to just be a bitch unless otherwise stated (since there was the bonus where Matt says "I'm not his bitch, I'm his husband")

360 degree radar sense must freak them out. Sometimes Matt will just tap on Frank's shoulder and point out someone who thought they could stare just bc Frank's back was to them.
There are whole conspiracy theories about how Matt has super eyes that see through the back of his head. Matt whispers the best ones to Frank while wondering when these dumb fuckers will learn that swiveling your head around and palming your crotch is not at all discreet

Hmmm, not sure about that, part of the point here is that Matt's pretending to be a helpless blind man remember? Maybe they start thinking that Frank's got eyes in the back of his head, Matt tells him who's leering when he lets him know that he needs to stop to get info.

Oh god, yes. Maybe they'll even think Frank is a *mutant*, because how else does he survive that much shit?

Someone gets the bright idea to get Frank sent to solitary.
The first time someone tries to fuck with the blind guy, they find that he can still locate their balls with his knee

And maybe that close he can still stick a shiv in your gut while he's shouting for the guards. It's just luck that he hasn't accidentally killed anyone yet.

Way I see it, filler doesn't use the prompt discussion, OP basically gets two fills. Win-win

Hm, two fills? If a prompt gets a fill during the nomination phase, isn't that prompt disqualified?

Which brings up another question - for any of these prompts, what happens if the 'discussion', particularly if said discussion is a series of minifills that constitute a singular story, goes past 1k? I thought that was the cut off for a previous prompt being considered filled and so ineligible for nomination? (for ex., this thread has 465 words so far, and it's only been up for barely two days.)

If a prompt amasses 1000+ words of a continuous back and forth linear story, does that prompt get disqualified?

Oooh, and when Frank gets *out* of solitary, maybe he 'demonstrates' to Matt that defending him is *his* job, not Matt's? (could be a play either to pretend that the Punisher still owns Daredevil, so Matt gets left alone to plan their break-out or something/get the into they're in here to get) OR Matt managed to defend himself really cleverly, so there's only one or two people who actually ever saw him fight, and that is a way to reassure everyone that no, this poor guy utterly dominated by the Punisher *couldn't* be DD, everyone knows DD usually kicks the Punisher's ass?

How would he demonstrate that defending Matt is *his* job, not Matt's though? But yeah, everyone knows that Daredevil can beat the Punisher's ass any day of the week, so if Matt's submitting to him so completely he can't be Daredevil.

Hm, I was thinking telling him that (loudly, at night) in his cell, pressing on top of him and growling it into his ear, 'I think you've gotten overly cocky if you try making it on your own, relying on yourself instead of telling you belong to me first', while Matt pretend-whimpers in fear underneath.
