Rules:
  • General
    1. YKINMKATO. Play nice. If you don't like something, scroll on.

    2. All comments must be anon. If you would like to be politely banned to avoid anon-failing, leave a logged-in comment on the mod post or pm the mod account.

    3. IP Logging is currently on. Only the mod can see them, and the mod will only be paying attention to them when threads turn wanky and she wants to identify comments made by the same person.

    4. Subject lines should only be changed if you're posting a prompt or a fill (indicators like OP or Author!Anon should go in the body of the comment).

    5. RPF is allowed. Crossovers, characters from the extended Marvel Universe (excluding characters from Jessica Jones) and comics canon are allowed, but must relate to the 2015 TV show in some way.

    6. Prompts involving characters from Jessica Jones (including crossovers with Daredevil characters or the extended MCU) must go on the Jessica Jones Prompt Post.

    7. Prompts that are exclusively about the comics should go on the Comics Prompt Post.

    8. Discussion not related to the prompt should be moved to the discussion/off-topic post.

    9. Drop a comment on the mod post if you have any questions or problems.

  • Prompts
    1. All types of prompts are welcome.

    2. Use the subject line for the main idea of your prompt (pairing or characters, keywords, kink).

    3. Warnings are nice, but not mandatory. Get DW Blocker if there's anything you really don't want to see.

    4. Reposted prompts are allowed once one round has passed - i.e., prompts from post #2 cannot be reposted until post #4. Please include a link to where it has been previously posted.

  • Fills
    1. Put [FILL] or something similar in the subject line when posting a fill.

    2. Announce your fill on either the Completed Fills Post or the WIP Post.

    3. Long fills can either be posted over multiple comments, or posted on AO3 and linked back here.

    4. Multiple fills are always okay.

    5. Fills can be anything! Fic, art and vids are all welcome.

    6. If it wasn't written specifically for the prompt, it doesn't count as a fill. You are welcome to provide a link to already existing fic that does fit the prompt, in case the prompter hasn't seen it, but it doesn't count as a fill.

Sudden D/s-verse, any/any or multiple

(Anonymous) 2015-11-23 06:47 pm (UTC)(link)
Okay, we've had a sudden a/b/o prompt. How about a sudden D/s-verse? Everyone is minding their own business and suddenly find themselves getting turned on by things they never were into before. Unlike a/b/o this would be more of a slow burn, and it would take a while societally to realize what's going on.

Really though I just want to see people getting suddenly turned on and feeling weird about it.

(Bonus points if there's at least one character who was already into D/s and doesn't notice a change at all)

I'm the most predictable person ever and want sudden!sub Matt and always-a-dom!Foggy ^^° Foggy could be so conflicted-happy, because on the one hand, *not* okay that some magic suddenly changes everyone's preferences, but on the other hand, fiercely independent, prickly Matt might finally, *finally* be more open to let someone take care of him...

Interesting! I was thinking always-a-switch Matt and like, sudden sub!Karen and maybe sudden!dom Foggy. And sudden!sub Marci because I love the idea of her as a mouthy sub.

But sudden!dom or sudden!sub Matt would both be equally interesting if it happened during a fight.

I could see sudden!dom and sudden!sub Matt for extra shits and giggles during a fight...

Leave Room (sudden!Dom!Matt shortfill)

(Anonymous) 2015-11-23 11:29 pm (UTC)(link)
It was a fight like any other fight, until it wasn't.

The woman's screams had been piercing and terrified, and by the time Matt had found the right alley, the man had already begun to rape her. He was evil, from anyone's point of view. The beating that Matt dealt to him was justice, and he was secure in that knowledge. And then, all at once, everything changed.

The shift itself was imperceptible, like the whole world had taken a collective step to the left. But the effects... the effects were impossible to miss. One step to the left and off a cliff.

The next time Matt punched the rapist in the gut, the sensation rang through him like a heavy cello string whetted for the first time in a concert hall; it was a live thing, rich and strong and demanding to be followed with another note. So he hit again, and again, and he twisted and kicked and reveled in every moment. Each hit reverberated through some deep place in him that he had never been aware of before. The sense of power and control was like nothing Matt had ever experienced, and he loved it. He didn't want to stop for anything.

"Please--" a hoarse voice croaked, "don't..." It was the rapist, begging to be released, reprieved, but what mercy had he shown to that woman? What mercy did he deserve in return? Men got taught lessons-- dogs got put down.

"You don't like being afraid?" Another punch. "Don't like being helpless?" A swift twist to break a finger, eliciting a delicious sound of agony. "Maybe," Matt added thoughtfully, leaning down, "you should have thought of that--" a second broken finger "--before you made her afraid and helpless." He wrapped his fingers tightly around the rapist's throat. "You deserve this, and you know it." Then he squeezed, tight enough to hurt but not enough to give this monster the release of unconsciousness.

"Please..." the man gasped. He spoke in a voiceless whisper, so thick with terror that it was nearly unintelligible. "My family--"

All at once sense came crashing back. The smell of fear was almost thick enough for ordinary senses. With supreme effort, Matt made his fingers release, and the man dropped to the ground with a thud. He was a man, just a man. Not a monster, not a dog, but a man. A human, just like Matt. Insisting that a rapist was somehow fundamentally different was just an excuse for unrestrained violence. The man deserved justice, yes, but not vengeance at Matt's hand.

Matt's very human, very weak-willed hand, which had curled around the man's broken fingers while he had been distracted, and then twisted sharply. The scream that wrenched from the man's throat was electrifying in the worst possible way. Matt realized suddenly that he was very, very hard, and that the grinding of bone fragments was only making it worse. He couldn't stop-- he didn't even want to stop, not at his core. Every sign of pain in the other only made him feel better, hotter, stronger. It was, truth be told, the best thing he had ever experienced.

"Oh God," he gasped, even as he twisted harder and the man's eyes rolled back in his head. "Oh God, please!" And then he could let go, release the man's fingers, and stumble back against the alley wall. He slid down until his head was between his knees, tucked his hands into the curl of his body. As the injured man limped hurriedly away, Matt began to pray more desperately than ever before.

"Please, Father, stay my hand. Even now I want to go after him, I want to beat him into the ground. I want to tear him apart. Please don't let me!" He was beginning to cry, shaking with the effort of holding himself back. "Don't let me make this about me, because it's not. It's always been about others, about helping them. Doing Your work, maybe. But this... this isn't that. I need You to stop me, because I can't stop myself. I can't do it. I need You, I need You."

The man's slow, injured footsteps were still clear in Matt's ears when he felt something inside him speak. It was the still, small voice-- the one that always reminded him of the difference between Should and Shouldn't, the one that had first told him that he needed to fight. Some called it conscience; Matt called it the prompting of the Spirit in him. It reminded him of what he had once read in Romans:

"Do not take revenge, my dear friends, but leave room for God's wrath, for it is written: 'It is mine to avenge; I will repay,' says the Lord."

Over and over again Matt repeated this to himself until the erection was gone, as well as the trail by which he might follow the man he had nearly killed. It would be a long time before he trusted himself to enact justice without taking the vengeance that did not belong to him, but eventually-- eventually, he promised himself and God, he would learn the right way to control and direct this new lust for violence. Never again would it control him.

Re: Leave Room (sudden!Dom!Matt shortfill) A/N

This is sort of a darker take, based on the interpretation that Matt already "likes" what he's doing a little too much, and uses his faith to hold himself back from becoming something worse. In that scenario, I think it would be harder for him to restrain himself if the desire suddenly got a lot stronger (hence, I made him a particularly sadistic flavor of Dom).

The verse is Romans 12:19. If you don't like religion, or don't think Matt would run to God first when he didn't know what to do, then I'm not sure where you've been during S1.
