  6. If it wasn't written specifically for the prompt, it doesn't count as a fill. You are welcome to provide a link to already existing fic that does fit the prompt, in case the prompter hasn't seen it, but it doesn't count as a fill.

Huh. The first parallel that comes to mind is maybe they'd face the same prejudices as trans* people? Like, "c'mon, it's either or, none of that in-between bullshit, you are what you're born as!" and people perceived as Doms who sometimes sub are treated like freaks who 'voluntarily' become something weaker, and people perceived as subs who'd also sometimes like to dom are treated as 'having ideas above their station'?

Yes yes yes this. Also, for Matt, it's not like he's one of those switches who really doesn't much care for bdsm at all, right? He's an extremely sadistic dom who gets off on beating people bloody and breaking bones, but if he's a sub, he's the most masochistic sub you've ever seen.

And maybe, maybe he's so masochistic because he feels like he deserves to be punished for enjoying hurting people so much.

I see this version of sub!Matt as having even more trouble accepting loving aftercare than usual!Matt. And yet I still want to write this as Matt/Foggy and I can't imagine Foggy being anything but loving and sweet to a sub even if he beats them to crying, begging submission beforehand. Granted, Matt needs that kind of gentle sweetness. Hm, and then Foggy would have to insist on good BDSM practices and "Let me take care of you, damn it Matt."

I may have to write this afterall...
