Ohhh, noooo. The prompt is cute, but my brain is making it sad. ;_; Like Foggy trips and falls. He's dimly aware of someone nearby screeching, but he's more preoccupied with trying not to land on his face in this weird shimmery fountain thing -

And then he's in a cramped apartment. A little brown-haired boy turns to him immediately, and shit, his glasses, his cane -

They talk. Foggy tells Matt he knows about his senses and doesn't need to pretend. Matt knows he's not lying.

They're talking when the gunshot goes off. Matt runs out. Foggy runs after.

Jack Murdock is dead.

Foggy tells the cops he's Matt's uncle; Matt is in too much shock to object. They go back to the apartment for the night. To make Matt feel better, Foggy tells him about the future. About antics in college. Being best friends. Having a law firm together. He hugs little Matt through his nightmares.

The next morning, there's a knock at the door: Child and Family Services (or whatever it's called in New York). Foggy fades away...

So I shouldn't mention Foggy reappearing after Matt's begun training with Stick but is left alone one night while Stick's out on business... and Matt's hurting and scared and knows something about Stick is wrong, but Foggy has to let him suffer because if Matt doesn't train with Stick it could screw up god knows what else about the future and if Matt chooses to fight anyway he'd be more hurt without the training.

So all Foggy can do is hug him and tell him more stories about their law school girlfriends and peers and Landman & Zack and stealing bagels.

And promise, promise, that somewhere in the future, even though he himself won't know it yet, Foggy will be waiting for Matt to walk into his life?

(And he fades away again with the first rays of dawn.)

I absolutely thought you were heading a different direction with Foggy tripping as in Foggy is the one Matt pushes out of the way of the truck.
