foggy over in the corner trying very hard not to tear his own hair out in sheer frustration. :D

...because i like ridiculous unnecessary angst: maybe Matt & Foggy tried to make a go of it back in college, but it didn't take - they were still waiting for this woman, whoever she was, so they decided to partner up and keep it sort-of-mostly platonic until they found her.

Matt doing the whole catholic "uh the thing is living with only one of my soulmates is LIVING IN SIN, we should wait to find her, self-denial, ect," thing, and also secretly "and now i don't have to worry about foggy seeing me naked and noticing the stabbings"

Foggy doing the "well fuck it, Marci, lemme give you the hot anal sex you deserve, girl, since in this world where i have two soulmates i can't get it on with either of them"

ahaha YES GOOD.

maybe matt thinks it would be somehow unfair to get together with foggy before they meet their mutual third person. or yeah, maybe they give it a try and just don't balance quite right without karen. so they date random other people while they wait, and then later on matt is guiltily relieved that not actively being with foggy lets him keep his daredevilling somewhat hidden.

and foggy and marci are perfectly aware that they're not each other's soulmates, but hey, people have needs. (then later foggy uses his amazing bedroom skills to blow matt and karen's minds. :DDD )

...dammit i don't have time to write this and i suck at romantic angst anyway. *bangs head repeatedly against desk*

...I got such a need for Foggy & Marci having insane sex because Foggy's waiting on his soulmates and Marci has...idk, decided that she's never going to find her soulmate, or he's dead or living 5000 miles away, but she's damn well going to get herself some loving while she waits for him to show up?

HARDCORE fucking sexual tension between Matt & Foggy, Karen is slightly uncomfortable because sometimes it gets intense, but Matt is waiting for their third before he makes a move, and Foggy gets pissed enough to take it out on Matt, sometimes?
