much to the dismay of their neighbors, matt and foggy seem determined to have sex on every available space in the shared dorm room. against the wall, on the desk, the floor, everywhere they can feasibly get to.

+10 they try to be considerate, but, well, they can get a little loud sometimes.

+100 if the floor RA awkwardly interrupts something during a room inspection

VROOM VROOM I'M INTO THIS

I am a fucking SUCKER for the fandom trope that Matt was biiiiiig into austerity/self-denial until he met Foggy in undergrad and Foggy ~taught him to live a little~

i dunno bout you, OP, but consider: Matt, who's a little shy and and very controlled and also secretly a little smug about how he can get his partners very vocal and demanding? but he never really lets go all the way (because: control issues! and Hiding His Secrets!) . However! Foggy is loud and dorky and encourages Matt's dorkiness, and somehow it doesn't seem like a big deal if Matt gets a little careless or loud when he's fucking Foggy, y'know?

yesssss. i can totally see it. and i could totally see foggy being secretly kind of smug about how he can get matt, who normally has so much self-control that it's ridiculous, to slip so much that he doesn't realize (or doesn't care) that he's getting loud. just these two nerds being quietly smug about everything.

okay, as someone very concerned that they're going to be rooming in a dorm full of party animals this fall, i am mortified at the aspect of hearing people fuck through the walls. and yet. AND YET.

okay, uh, yeah. give me foggy getting matt up against a wall or a door or whatever and just wrecking him. give me matt precariously perched on a study desk and accidentally shaking the desk lamp as foggy gives it to him. give me posters falling off the walls and unintentionally leaving marks on the paint where the shitty old bedframe keeps hitting the wall. i don't care, guys, just fuck me up.

Professors scratch their heads over how big chunky headphones suddenly became a thing on campus.

And students also tend to wear those little earplugs on a string like a necklace too.

"Is it some sort of philosophy thing? 'listening but not hearing'? ...ah who knows, kids just keep getting weirder. Oh well, at least it's not those damn tama-whatsits anymore."
