  6. If it wasn't written specifically for the prompt, it doesn't count as a fill. You are welcome to provide a link to already existing fic that does fit the prompt, in case the prompter hasn't seen it, but it doesn't count as a fill.

Gargoyle!Foggy

Matt and Foggy first meet at Matt's church. Foggy is a lonely gargoyle who loves listening to the hymns and Matt is interested to talk to the only other person who comes to sermons alone. Except Matt doesn't actually find out that Foggy's a gargoyle until the first time they touch.

Oh, I love this prompt, but I have no idea how to start. If they met at a service wouldn't other people notice that he's a gargoyle? What is the nature of gargoyledom? Are gargoyles semi-normal in this universe, a la discworld? Disney's Gargoyles were stone during the day so it'd have to be midnight mass. Maybe gargoyles are secret, but run on weeping angels rules (Tennant-era angels episode, the concept was ruined in the Smith-era). Oh god, Matt would be the first human Foggy would be able to talk to if that's the case. My poor awkward dove!

Wait, what if they meet on the church roof while eaves dropping on the choir practice? I'll be back in a day or so.

I remember that in the Gargoyles cartoon, Hudson actually befriended a blind man. The guy eventually figured out his friend was a gargoyle because he always visited in the middle of the night and smelled like concrete, lol.

It'd be cool if Matt ran into Foggy during his night runs.

A question for you OP, if you're still watching: Were you specifically hoping for a Disney Gargoyles thing? Or would you be interested in anything featuring a Foggy that is some kind of gargoyle?
