Oh man, I remember that. This is an amazing idea! I can just imagine Foggy so freaked out by everything and Matt freaking out himself because it's Foggy and he was too late to save him and he hates himself for that. It's like all the blind!Foggy prompts, but better because Matt might be able to actually teach him how to be like him.

Only, oh g-d, the angst! There's the suddenly blinded angst, there's the completely overwhelming onslaught of sound, smells, etc, and then there's all Matt's angst because he did not want this for Foggy. Not for anyone, but certainly not for Foggy.

I'm rambling, Sorry. What I'm trying to say is this is so seconded!

For some elementary school project, they were assigned to write each other letters, and they were enthusiastic correspondents. Dinosaurs! Boxing! Whatever else!

Either when Matt is blinded or when Matt is sent to St. Agnes and moves schools, they fall out of touch, and neither one of them knows how to find the other until they meet up again in law school.

Bonus if they don't figure it out right away because there are a lot of Matts in the city and Foggy was still going by Franklin then and eventually one of them runs across the other's stash of letters or something? And then a joyful reunion.

i definitely love multi-fills! and this one is great! :D

i especially like foggy's universe-transcending ability to be inappropriately flirtatious upon meeting versions of matt, and the discussion of the two universes' reversed coloring for matt and foggy. also the mention of kirsten, and 616!matt being a dramatic little shit (because he so is), and the way foggy decides to just go with it for the night.

Holy gods! I love this! This is very well written anon. I honestly was delighted with this no read it a few times.

I have to ask, what is Natasha planning for Matt?

I loved all their interactions. It's brilliant. I love Clint's POV and the way he takes in everything. Little Foggy and Matt are so cute together and childish. I love the adults' freaked out reactions to Matt's status and trying to make him calm and trust them.

If you ever feel like writing more Please do. This is brilliant.

That was *perfect*. Just what I wanted. Foggy is amazing; he just doesn't get why people wouldn't be decent human beings. I love how you've portrayed Marci and Matt - different people, dealing with it differently. And the implication of when it was for Matt - yeah, Foggy would be angry, *very* angry.

I need happy confort fic to get over the (awesome, lets be honest) EXTREMELY angsty fics I just read.

So, please give me Happy!Matt

Maybe he tought a situation was terrible, everyone dies and it turns out everything is fine.

Or Matt runs into a time travelling device and is ABLE TO FIX EVERY BAD THING THAT HAPPENED TO HIM. So a very smart child Matt convinces his father to quit boxing. Then wins every single scolarship possible because actually has the intelligence of a lawyer. And advices his father on some very smart choices. And goes to college and meets Foggy again AND NO ONE DIES AND EVERYTHING IS MADE OF RAINBOWS OKAY?!

I would think a $500 would be the least of your worries under those circumstances ;)

I suspect it would all start with some local law - but I'm sure he'd be willing to branch out in pursuit of the ridiculous :)

All the earlier bad stuff still happens, unlike your prompt, but it's awesome.

Does Matt have one? What is it? Why did he choose it?

(I'm going with the general assumption that the Michael in Matt's full name was given at birth and wasn't chosen when he got confirmed, *although* that being said, Matt WOULD pick the name of the archangel who leads God's forces and defeats Satan during the war in heaven because ~symbolism~)
