Doesn't matter what, but don't kill him please! Some bad guy finds out Daredevil's identity, but he doesn't want to kill him, he wants to hurt him, and the best way to do that is through the people he cares about. So bad guy captures Foggy and... I dunno. Maybe any one of the terrible things already prompted here. He blinds him, he cuts out his tongue or he deafens specifically so its going to be tough for Matt to communicate with him. Maybe something entirely different. The point is, it's somethig permanent and something that neither he not Matt will ever be able to forget, and they both know it's because of Matt, how will they each reach, how (if at all) will it affect their friendship?

Matt Murdock the Milton Keynes of people...

Oh my god, what if he blinds him, cuts out his tongue and deafen him?!!

Basically daredevil is captured by these new bad guys in town, and they are looking for someone. They torture Matt because they think he know where to find them. The thing is they keep showing him a photo asking him is he know who they are and where to find them. Of course Matt being blind has no idea who they want, and just stays quiet. Or just repeats he doesn't know. Either one is fine.

(Just some suggestions)

+10 if it's Karen they want, because of some dark past of hers or something

+100 if they saw Daredevil with Karen. Like saving her or walking by her. So they know he knows who she is and where to find her. So they were like you know who who she is, you saved her, but the thing is Daredevil saved lots of people, and still doesn't get what they are talking about.

Okay so i already posted this want on tumblr but i decided to see if anyone on here would be willing to take it on.

So for some reason i can’t stop thinking about super friendly and sweet vampire!Foggy Nelson who doesn’t drink from people because that’s just rude, but he does have a supplier of blood bags(maybe Claire, maybe someone else?)
And Matt is the super scary and dangerous vampire hunter and maybe Matt goes to stake Foggy but Matt has never met a nice vampire and he’s just…super intrigued by this funny and sweet guy…vampire.
And they are both wary at first then they become best friends, fall in love, and (since I’m trash) they bang like a screen door in a hurricane. Several times.
Bonus points for jealous Matt!

Yeah, I've seen that and it's great, but I don't think it's because of Matt being Daredevil in that fic. This prompt also isn't so much about the impact on Foggy but on the fact that it's Matt's... not his fault exactly, but because of him, how he reacts, how Foggy reacts.

Then I would cry, because that would be horrible. But I would still read it because I'm horrible too.

Ooh and Cal is really suspicious of Matt's lie detector abilities bc no-one is that good espcially when they have no way of reading micro-expressions.

He gets to work two hours early the next morning, and Karen is already there. The coffee left in the carafe is starting to scorch, which means she’s been there at least half an hour--probably longer. He turns the pot off, hangs up his jacket and leans his cane inside the office door, then pauses, considering. Karen usually only hangs around the office when she’s got some good reason not to be at home. No one threatened her after he and Foggy left last night; no one was hanging around her neighborhood who wouldn’t normally have been there. Her heartbeat sounds steady, and there’s no underlying stink of fear. Karen is prone to paranoia in ways that are familiar, that hint at some hidden damage lurking beneath the surface of her sweet, brisk, energetic idealism, but she isn’t actively afraid right now.

He’s been standing in his office door too long. Karen’s heart picks up; she stops typing. “Is everything okay, Matt?”

“I was going to ask you the same question,” he admits. “You’re here early.”

“So are you.”

“Touché.”

She sighs. “I couldn’t sleep. Figured I might as well accomplish something other than lying awake, staring at my ceiling. What about you?”

“More or less the same,” Matt says, which is true. Mostly.

“Hm.” Her chair squeaks as she turns toward him. “Is everything okay with you and Foggy?”

“Yeah,” Matt says quickly. “Why wouldn’t it be?”

“You’ve been distracted. Both of you have. You’re not fighting, are you?”

“We’re not fighting,” Matt says. He’s pretty sure that’s true. Foggy hasn’t been angry at him, even though he pretty much deserves it.

“Good. Because if you were, I’d have to lock you both in the supply closet together until you worked it out. I’m not putting up with that again.”

Matt laughs, although he doesn’t actually think she’s joking. And there’s a thought he doesn’t need to entertain in any detail--being trapped in an enclosed space with Foggy, breathing the same air-- “I don’t think that’s going to be necessary.”

“So you’re not going to tell me what’s going on?”

“Nothing’s going on,” he says firmly. It was a kiss. He’s kissed people before; plenty of people. He’s kissed strangers in bars, tipsy laughing sorority girls who tasted of lipstick and sugary alcohol; his high school girlfriend, Jeannie, who liked to pull his hair when he went down on her; the girls he dated in college--there weren’t as many of the as Foggy seems to think, but there were a few. He kissed Claire, even if she did shoot him down pretty thoroughly afterward. He and Karen might have hooked up, for that matter, if things had gone differently--the attraction is still there on her part, he knows, although it’s been tempered with a healthy dose of exasperated familiarity by now--and that would have been awkward for a while but he’s pretty sure that it wouldn’t have lodged in his head like this.

Foggy stands out, and Matt’s not even sure if it’s just because he’s a man, or because he’s Foggy, and Matt has just fundamentally unbalanced the stable bedrock of their friendship.

Although if that’s the case, he seems to be the only one experiencing the dizzy sense of vertigo, which seems very unfair.

“If you say so,” Karen is saying, skeptically.

“What about you?” Matt asks.

“What?”

He slides his glasses off, orients his face in her direction. Visual cues are meaningless to him, but that doesn’t mean he can’t use them on other people. The glasses create a barrier, a degree of social distance that can be useful but which isn’t going to help him at all in getting Karen to open up. “Is there anything you want to tell me?”

She swallows. “No. No, I’m--I’m sorry I bothered you yesterday. I just got freaked out, it’s probably nothing.”

Her heart is pounding. Lie. “But you don’t think it’s nothing.” The silence stretches out for a long, uncomfortable moment. “Karen, if you’re in trouble--”

Her jaw snaps shut with an audible click, and he can almost hear the shields go back up. “You’re not the only one who gets to keep secrets, Matt. I have work to do.”

He miscalculated. That seems to be happening a lot lately. Matt slides the glasses back on his face and pushes off from the doorframe. “I’m sorry for prying. If you want to talk, you know where to find me.”

“Yeah,” Karen says under her breath as he steps into his office. “Likewise.”

He almost steps back out at that--it can be hard sometimes to tell which muttered comments he’s meant to overhear and which ones he isn’t--but Foggy is coming up the stairs, his gait loose and cheerful, carrying a box that smells of fresh bagels, and Matt abruptly decides that he isn’t up for another argument this morning, especially not on the topic of what is or isn’t wrong between him and Foggy.

At least, he hopes that’s what she was talking about. The alternatives are...worrying.

He doesn’t get much accomplished that day. When five o’clock comes and goes without Karen giving any sign that she’s planning on leaving anytime soon, Foggy sighs loudly, pushes his chair back, and steps out of his office. “You guys are seriously the most depressing workaholics I’ve ever had the misfortune to encounter.”

“Wow, harsh,” Karen says mildly.

“I mean it,” Foggy says. “This depresses me. I am depressed. I am going to go drink my sorrows, and you tragic peons are going to join me whether you like it or not.”

“Or what?” Matt asks, grinning.

“Hey, don’t get all high and mighty with me, mister, just remember how much blackmail material I have on you.”

A month ago, that might have made Matt flinch, made him wonder if this would be the time that Foggy was going to blurt out his secret, but now he just laughs. “Don’t forget who got to listen to you talk in your sleep for three years of law school. If this is going to be a mudslinging competition, I don’t think you’ll win.”

“That was low,” Foggy says, sounding amused. “Low, Murdock.”

“Well, I am a lawyer.”

“That’s true.” Foggy rocks back on his heels. “So you’re coming out drinking with me, right?”

“Of course I’m coming out drinking with you,” Matt says. “Someone has to carry you home.”

“You’re a true friend. Karen? You in?”

“Like I’d miss a chance to see the two try to hit on Josie,” Karen laughs. “One of these days, she’s going to break a bottle over your heads, and I’ll be there to see it.”

“Please. Josie loves us.”

“I don’t think that’ll stop her,” Matt says, and of course, nobody can really argue with that.

Matt grows a goatee. Foggy gets convinced he's been replaced by his evil twin from a parallel dimension. Matt can't convince him he's not. Even when he shaves the beard off. Karen is secretly filming the whole debacle for the amusement of her friends and family of vigilantes and superheroes support group.

Ok so getting hit by the chemicals gave Matt enhanced senses but didn't blind him, Jack died as he did in canon, but at some point after Stick got hold of Matt he blinds him because of some fucked up reasons (preferably not as punishment though, more like "this will make you stronger").

Bonus points if he's working for the same people as Madame Gao

I... this is freaking hilarious and perfectly in character.

Oh my god.
I feel like the chemicals would have damaged his vision, but only to a point where he was considered legally blind, but not totally blind, so still light perception and such. But then Stick would say that he was relying too much on his vision when it was no good, so he just took the rest of it away. Because it's a distraction, like everything else, friends and soft things.

Matt is deagged, permanently, to a time after Stick. The superheroes are insistent on keeping him with them since they could train him in his senses and if he chose to go back as Daredevil. Stick makes a mysterious return. A few organizations want mini!Daredevil even though they don't know who he is because he's clearly going to be a decent asset.

Then he goes missing. Everyone is freaking out.

After a long search they find him, they find him comfortable, safe and happy....with Franklin "Foggy" Nelson.

Just...yeah. This is a horrifying idea and I can't get it out of my head.

Matt breaks his leg. He is out for months with the injury.

He gets depressed as he can't exert himself like before. He gains weight, loses strength and generally is not fun to be around.

He's condescended to worse than ever. He's not only a blind guy but he's a blind guy with a broken leg.

And Foggy, well Foggy is the reason Matt is pretty much one of the reasons he believes in God. He can't explain how he has such a good friend otherwise because listening to Foggy tear down ableist assholes is the highlight of his days some times and he helps without question.

"You have no idea how disappointed I was after I discovered you were my son. I hoped you would be like me. Instead I found in you everything I despised from your mother. Don't get me started on her, just know that the sex wasn't even that good. It only shows to prove nurture has so much of an effect over nurture.

"This changes nothing, it never did. I wanted a soldier. You wanted a father. Jack Murdock will have to settle for second best again."

Wow, this is the fastest I've ever gotten a fill. Thanks!

And then Matt hits him, right? D: I'll imagine he hits him.

More specifically, Foggy finds an injured, half-dead Elektra (possibly after her iconic ... "encounter" with Bullseye) and, against his better judgement, knowing that if he called an ambulance she'd be in trouble, decides to take her in and patch her up himself. Mostly because he knows how much Matt loves her.

When Matt thinks Elektra has died, however, Foggy hides the truth from him, reasoning that she's brought him nothing but pain (and maybe a little bit of jealousy is involved as well).

Thank god for Bruce being an adult!
