Am I the only one still super confused?

Like... why did that earthquake happen? What is Alexandria's actual plan? What the fuck is the Black Sky (still) besides just Elektra only she can fight a bit better? So much talking and expositing and I still feel like we don't know anything...

Elektra's tour of Matt's apartment leaves me with two pressing questions: who picked out the couple of pieces of art on Matt's walls? And does anybody in his life take on the task of painting nudging usually to explain why all of them are clearly crooked? Lmao

Yeah, the crooked paintings didn't make a lot of sense. They were already there in season 2 of Daredevil, but they weren't askew.

There was at least one fight in season 2 in Matt's apartment, which may have messed with the alignment of the paintings. The only explanation I have is that no one other than Matt has been in his apartment since, and Matt simply doesn't care enough to straighten them, although I'm sure that his supersenses would make him be able to do it if he wanted.

They're crooked because he never cleaned up his apartment after the earthquake :)...

This is correct. When Elektra is walking around, you can still see broken cups and shards of items on the floor where everything was tossed about and it was never cleaned up. The paintings are on the walls and there are other walls with big cracks in them. That earthquake did some damage.

I just took it for granted that they were crooked by the earthquake at the start of the season: Matt's apartment seems to be shaking strongly.

Although really... once they're crooked, what incentive would he ever have to notice or care. It just amused me to notice they were there at all.

Wasn't there a line in one of the seasons of Daredevil where someone told Matt his apartment needed some art on the walls, it was too bare? Like, for sighted guests, if not for him. Maybe I just read that in a fic.

In season 1, Matt pretended that someone had told him this when he visited Vanessa in the art gallery because he wanted to get close to Fisk through her. It was an act. But it looks like he took his own advice.
