This post is for prompts involving characters from Netflix's Daredevil.

Now that The Defenders prompt post is live, all crossovers between anyone in the four individual shows should go over there. Prompts only including characters that appear in Daredevil should still go here.

Rules:

General
1. YKINMKATO. Play nice. Respect others. If you don't like something, scroll on.
2. All comments must be anon. If you would like to be politely banned to avoid anon-failing, leave a logged-in comment on the mod post or pm the mod account.
3. Subject lines should only be changed if you're posting a prompt or a fill (indicators like OP or Author!Anon should go in the body of the comment).
4. RPF is allowed. Crossovers, characters from the extended Marvel Universe and comics canon are allowed, but must relate to the 2015 TV show in some way.
5. Prompts focusing on characters from other Netflix Marvel shows or the comics should go on their respective prompt posts, but crossovers with Daredevil can go here.
6. Drop a comment on the mod post if you have any questions or problems.

Prompts

The Defenders realizing Matt would very probably have died at midland circle without it? Foggy remembering the time the helmet stopped a bullet to his head?

Foggy has a guilty pleasure comfort film (mine growing up was 4 weddings & a funeral) that he watches when he’s stressed or sad. But Foggys too embarrassed to watch it in front of Matt so he puts it on mute. (he’s seen a hundred times already and knows the dialogue by heart)

Matt starts to notice that Foggy is watching the same thing often, but Foggy won’t say what it is. Or Matt notices a behaviour change in Foggy every time he sits quietly in front of his laptop.

Eventually Foggy opens up and they bond over comfort/ guilty pleasure films.

OP... ...and there's a brawl between Matt and Fisk.

So everyone who died in the Snap stayed dead for five years, then came back to life. So it’s likely one or two members of our trio died and the other one/two spent five years trying to go on without them. Now I want the reunion. The tears, the disbelief, the hugging, the adjustment period, and, of course, the realization that they’re all three of them in love with each other and they don’t want to waste any more time.

Also, can you imagine Frank's reaction to Matt's motivations? Like, he somehow managed to bring the feral vigilante kid from 'fight' to 'talk', and the kid is saying something like
"I wanted a dad, but he just wanted a soldier, so he left. So I have to show him I can be a good soldier, and maybe he'll come back."
And the description of the 'training', too, which is... Abuse.
Like, in this continuity, I think Frank would be in a constant state of internal screaming every time Matt does something or opens his mouth

Nice idea! I like how it's based on the fact that Matt doesn't need, or want, 'fixing'. Written right, it could be very good!
Do you think Matt should be blind again at the end?

Also, please don't takr it badly, but you're supposed to post verything anonymously...

matt is "cured" of his blindness.
everything awful and he hates everything.
+ if it's foggy that contacts someone to somehow "fix" matt, because he wants him to stop daredeviling and figures that if matt's super senses are removed, matt won't hear the screams at night and therefore will have no motivation to be daredevil. and, bonus in foggy's head, matt will be able to see, which is totally definitely awesome and a thing that matt wants, right?
++ if matt being able to see doesn't actually remove his super senses and he just ends up in sensory hell

Do you think Matt should be blind again at the end?

So I'm having a metaphysical discussion with someone and we get to trauma & auras. Some traumas change & distort & color auras. You can pick up on it, even it you're not sure if you understand what you're sensing. I was also explaining that people can read auras thru sound, taste, color, or smell. Current theory is that people understand or read auras by development of a learned synesthesia. (Google it... Colors have taste, sounds have smells, numbers have shape) that we pick up auras but don't have an established system of language/ understanding in western culture. (I'm taoist)

What if a part of Matt's training covered this? What if Matt knows & understands auras or chi differently then Danny Rand was trained? (The Iron Fist show has done a piss-poor job of covering & developing this. His 'meditation' portrayal is laughable. It's like a bad cliche made worse. Like they're making fun of it. )

Oh, and Matt's aura is warped & scarred because of his trauma. He can also use it as a weapon. Or his aura warps or changes in the devil costume. (Like when you get dressed up for an event & feel sexy. Or when you out on your workout clothes & feel powerful.)

In a universe with daemons, Matt was kidnapped and raised by the hand as a kid, and as an adult is a dangerous lawyer, Murderdock style. He is separated from his daemon, which is kept hostage by the Hand as insurance.

+ for Matt keeping a giant aquarium with a shark in his office, and pretend it's his daemon as a cover
+ for someone, at some point, killing the shark, and it starting a rumor that he doesn't have a daemon at all
+ if Matt, at least at the beginning, is genuinly loyal to the Hand due to being brainwashed since childhood, and slowly breaking throught his conditionning throughout the story
+ for Matt having a weird friendship with someone, involving lots of dubious morality
+ for frank castle stumbling into this mess and being stuck in it
+ for frank's reaction upon learning that Matt was a child soldier
+ for brett
+ for BRETT's reaction upon learning that Matt was a child soldier

ENDGAME SPOILERS (just in case)
Nat and Matt established relationship. He dies in the snap. She dies trying to bring him back. One of the Avengers knows about him. How do they break the news that she's dead?

I know this is old but I really need it. I hate how things went with Foggy and Karen and the way it was treated. Don't get me wrong, I love Fogs and Karen, but damn dude.

Matt ends up in prison for his crimes committed as a vigilante. Given both how dangerous he is considered to be and how other criminals can be dangerous to him, he ends up in solitary; close supervision, extra security measures and all.

Foggy is a prison guard.
