This post is for prompts involving characters from Netflix's Daredevil.

Now that The Defenders prompt post is live, all crossovers between anyone in the four individual shows should go over there. Prompts only including characters that appear in Daredevil should still go here.

Maybe for the aftermath, if it was Daredevil in the tape, crooks don't take him seriously anymore, he's gotta deal with the name calling, the mocking. Maybe the Avengers try to help, maybe Tony has experience with having his sex tapes released. If it's Matt, imagine him getting harassed in the court house...could he get in trouble for it? Having done a sex tape I mean. So many thoughts.....

Just anything involving Elektra and Karen.

I wanna write this but is it okay if it's Karen who's currently dating Elektra? And she's the one describing to Matt what it's like to date Elektra and Matt's like yep I know exactly what you mean?

ANYTHING involving Overwatch, ranging from the show's characters playing the game (who's their preferred hero?), to melding the MCU and Overwatch worlds together (the Omnic Crisis happens instead of Ultron or the Incident...or Stick doesn't train Matt, Genji comes across him and takes him to Zenyatta or vise versa...or Nelson & Murdock end up representing members of Overwatch...or maybe Foggy's just a huge Lúcio fan...or ?)

I know they haven't even interacted yet but they're already my brotp. So anything that involves Jessica and Frank hanging out would be great. Maybe they become drinking buddies? Maybe they have a reluctant team up?

Foggy, Karen and Matt discuss their stripper names and discover Matt has never had a pet.
Cue fluffy animals. Maybe a visit to a cat cafe?

Or, the one where as the Punisher Frank doesn't get much human contact that isn't violence. So either:
He makes out with DD and ends up very aroused and very emotional very quickly, and is kind of ashamed of it, but Red still makes him come several times with light touches and mildly sexual things
Or the platonic route of perfectly platonic friends cuddling and crying, ugly huge sobs while Matt pets his hair

One if the few people Melvin still talks to from the Army gets arrested for being black at a protest. Daredevil tells him he knows a guy.

In a world where subs/omegas (depending on author's taste) are widely known, sub Matt goes to college. (from this point read subs as omega if you prefer that). Very few subs go to college, and if they do it's to find a mate. (Think women in the 1950s)

They certainly don't go to college aiming to get into law school. They don't turn down dates or refuse to submit or stand up for themselves against their 'betters.'

Matt is forced to live with the other unmarried subs on campus. Everyone treats him badly for acting so unsublike, but the ones who treat him the worst are the subs he lives with. They decide to turn him into a proper sub for his own good. Their methods get increasingly dangerous (Spiking his drink and recruiting dom boyfriends to 'help' him see how good submission can be?)

Needless to say Matt is traumatised and he can't escape because no one will believe sweet subs could do such a thing, and he isn't popular on campus. If he drops out he says goodbye to his only chance of being a lawyer. It wasn't easy getting such a good college place.

Unmarried subs aren't allowed to live anywhere else for their safety. The only way out is if he marries, and his cautiously made first friend alpha/dom Foggy is more than ready to offer after seeing the bruises and Matt's deteriorating mental state.

He's also willing to show Matt that not all doms are abusive egotistical assholes, and sometimes it's nice to submit.

Bonus:

Matt has few experiences of submission. All of them we're unpleasent and resulted in someone taking advantage of him.

Stick left him when he presented.

Caring gentle dom Foggy who gives Matt everything he didn't know he needed.

Foggy is huge on consent and doesn't do anything sexual while Matt is iffy about it.

Tons of praise from Foggy.

Second this idea.

Danny says something truly cringe worthy, proving he's been living under a rock for the last 20 years. The other Defenders find themselves having to teach him about ableism, classism, sexism, racism, and/or any thing else.

Brett knows Matt is Daredevil. He tells noone bot one Foggy nelson

A loud thump drew Matt from his uneasy slumber, and he gasped. A surge of adrenaline was released into his blood, but he started to calm down when he recognized the genial laugh.

"I can't believe you fell asleep in the library again," Foggy said. "You should go home and get some rest." Matt heard Foggy settle into the chair across from him. "The books will still be here in the morning."

"Yeah," Matt said quietly. "I guess you're right." But he couldn't go back to the sub housing, not after what they had done to him. "I'm just going to finish this chapter."

"What's the worst thing that could happen if you don't? You're top of the class Matty. Whatever you're trying to prove, you proved it."

Matt felt a flash of anger. "I shouldn't have to prove anything." Matt could taste the venom in his words. It was bitter and vile on his tongue. Foggy wasn't the one he was angry at, not really. But the Dom was here, so he became the target of Matt's fury.

Instead of doing what most Doms would do with an uppity sub, raising his voice and standing to tower over Matt, Foggy did the opposite. Foggy spoke in a voice so soft Matt had to struggle to hear him. "I didn't mean it like that. You're right. You're in a shitty situation. I shouldn't joke about it."

Foggy had no idea. Matt's eyes burned, and he was mortified to realize tears were spilling out. Matt tried to squeeze his eyes shut and hide the evidence of his shame, but it was too late.

"Are you- Did something happen? Are you okay?"

Matt rubbed the tears away. "It's nothing."

"I don't believe that."

"Because all subs are liars?" Matt snapped. He could hear the anonymous Dom's voice in his head saying just that. No one would believe Matt, the Dom had said, because all subs are liars.

"Because I can see that something is wrong. Did someone hurt you?"

"So just because I'm a sub I can't defend myself?" Matt waited for Foggy to get angry about Matt's combativeness and storm off, but Foggy remained calm and kind. Matt didn't understand why. He had never understood Foggy Nelson.

"If you don't want to tell me, that's okay. You don't owe me anything. Will you at least let me know if there's anything I can do?"

Matt felt the burning again, and he tried to fight the stubborn tears. But he was as helpless against them as he had been against the Dom who had held him down while he was drugged and confused. The pain in Matt's shoulder, which he was pretty sure was dislocated, served as a consistent reminder. The tears came, and Matt gave up trying to stop them, just as he had given up trying to stop the powerful Dom. Matt's cheeks reddened with shame at the memory. "There's nothing you can do. There's nothing anyone can do."

There was a long silence. For a moment Matt wondered if Foggy had finally gotten fed up and left. But then Foggy spoke in that calm compassionate tone Matt had come to love. "You shouldn't have to carry this alone."

Then it all came spilling out. The glass of water that tasted strange. The wooziness. Waking up in an unfamiliar place. The impossible weight on top of him. The cruel hands that were all over him. The begging. The laughing. Not one voice, but many. They hadn't just dropped Matt off. They had stayed to watch. They wanted to watch him be put in his place. Matt didn't want them to have the satisfaction. So he fought. The hands became more than cruel. They became angry and violent. When Matt felt his shoulder pop out of place he gave up. After that it was over quickly. Matt cried out in pain when the man entered him. His injuries made it that much worse. The Dom was so excited he came in moments after a couple brief yet excruciating thrusts. The spectators sounded disappointed. They let Matt go after that. They even let him clean up before he left. They didn't want people to see evidence of what they had done Matt assumed. No one warned him to keep quiet. They knew Matt's shame would do a better job of silencing him than any threats could. On his way out the door the cruel hands grabbed him once more. "Tell me you liked it," their owner demanded. "Or I'll teach you to like it. As many times as I have to. Even if I have to keep you here for weeks."

The Dom's threat hardly seemed realistic, but Matt's terror overcame him. He submitted. "I liked it."

"Tell me I was the best."

"You were the best."

"Say pleasing Doms is all you're good for."

Matt said the words on autopilot, only vaguely aware of what he was saying.

"You can go. I'm ready for another round, but you weren't that good honestly. You need to practice. Find someone who has the patience to teach you. Then you can come back and try again."

Matt fled. He had no idea where he was, or even if it was night or day. Eventually he found his way to the library. He tried to lose himself in the books, and in time exhaustion overcame him. Sleep proved a welcome escape.

"Then you showed up," Matt said nervously. He knew what came next. The accusations. The words thrown like daggers. Liar. Slut. Attention whore. Matt braced himself and waited for the inevitable.

Ok here. Wow. This was AMAZING. Way better than I was hoping for. Thanks so much for filling it. Eagerly waiting for the next part.

Melvin never says anything to Matt, just adds different textures to the different levels of armour, and secret braille labels.

Matt find he has a utility belt with his next costume upgrade. He has no idea how Melvin knew his sight issue but it certainly makes it harder for his enemies to try and use the pouches against him when they're close.

If he makes him some devil-rangs they're having a talk about copy right issues.

Matt's whole body was so tense he was afraid he would shatter with one good blow. He was pretty sure it would be a verbal blow. Foggy had never shown violent tendencies in the past. But Matt knew it would hurt anyway. And when he was in pieces on the floor, he would have to pick himself up and find somewhere to go. The thought filled him with dread.

"Do you want me to go to the clinic with you?"

"What?" Matt didn't understand.

"The longer you leave that shoulder the way it is the worse it will get. I could go with you if you don't want to go alone."

"You believe me?" Was this a joke? Was Foggy trying to lull him into a false sense of security before pulling the rug out from under him?

"Of course I believe you. Why would anyone make up such a horrible story? And you're one of the most honest and honorable people I know. You wouldn't lie, especially not about something this serious. And you hate being perceived as weak or vulnerable, so-"

Matt tried to choke back a sob. He was only partially successful.

"I'm sorry," Foggy whispered. "What do you need?"

"What?" Matt was so confused.

"Do you need me to walk you to the clinic? Would you like to stay in a hotel room tonight? Do you want me to help you file a report against-"

"You can't tell anybody!" Matt flinched at his own voice, far too loud in this place of silence.

"I won't. I would never do that without your permission."

Matt was exhausted. His body ached all over. Some places were agony, and some only discomfort, but it all felt miserable. All he wanted to do was sleep. But Foggy was right about his shoulder. "Just the shoulder. I don't want them looking at any of the rest."

"Okay," Foggy said. "It's your choice."

Matt let Foggy lead him to the clinic. He was seen faster than he had ever been before, even though he had received far more serious injuries in the past. Foggy explained that it was because a Dom was with him. His voice was angry, and it took Matt a second to realize the anger wasn't directed at him. The staff told Foggy he could go back with Matt, but Foggy said it was Matt's decision. The staff were obviously puzzled by this, and so was Matt in all honesty. What did Foggy want him to say? Matt said it was okay for Foggy to come. He was afraid of offending his only ally.

Setting the dislocated shoulder would be painful. Matt knew this even before the doctor told him. But knowing something was very different from experiencing it. Matt promised himself he wouldn't cry out, but when the bone was forced back into the joint without warning Matt yelped. Tears welled in his eyes.

"Are you okay Matty," Foggy asked softly.

Matt felt blood rush to his cheeks. This was so humiliating. Matt dropped his head, unable to summon an adequate response.

"Your Dom asked you a question," a technician said roughly.

"Don't talk to him like that," Foggy snapped. "He doesn't have to answer if he doesn't want to."

"Hey, if you want your sub to get into the habit of disrespecting you, it's no skin off my nose." There was a ripping sound. "Take this to the nurse." The technician left.

"I'm sorry Matt, I shouldn't have-"

"Is that a prescription?"

"Sort of. It says the doctor uploaded your prescription to the computer system, so take your ID to the nurse and-"

"I can do that." Matt held out his hand. "Thank you for coming with me. I'd probably still be in the waiting room if it weren't for you."

Foggy placed the paper in Matt's hand. "It's no problem." He sounded confused. "You're my friend."

Matt dropped his head again and rushed towards the nurses station. As the nurse clicked keys he spoke to Matt in a soft demure voice. "They don't mean to hurt us, not really. We just frustrate them, you know?"

"Sure," Matt whispered.

"Yours seems nice. At least he doesn't hit you in public. It's easier to save face when they only do it at home. He probably just wants you to hear him, you know. Just try to pay better attention."

"Okay," Matt whispered in an even quieter tone.

"Good luck."

"Thanks," Matt said. "You too." The second part he actually meant.

As Matt headed toward the stairway he was confused to hear a kind soft voice. "Did they have everything you need? I know a good pharmacy nearby if they were out of stock."

Matt stopped and tilted his head. "I thought you left."

There was a moment of silence. "Do you want me too?"

Matt blushed again. "I'm sorry. You've been so good to me and I'm being a bitch. You deserve better than-"

"No, absolutely fucking not." Matt was so startled he took a step back. But Foggy was on a roll and didn't seem to notice. "I deserve jack shit. This isn't about me. If I'm not helping I should leave. If you want me gone I should leave. I don't get to use your trauma to make myself feel all noble and enlightened or whatever the fuck. I am not going to add myself to the long list of people that have taken advantage of Matt Murdock. So if you want me gone I'm gone. And if you decide in ten hours or ten days or ten minutes or ten weeks or ten seconds or ten months or years or whatever fucking measurement of time you want or need my help I will be there. Because I am your friend. And my assistance comes at your convenience, not mine. So what do you need?"

Matt was dumbfounded. He had no clue how to respond. But Foggy waited patiently, even as the silence stretched on. Finally Matt managed to string together a few sentences. "I can't go back to sub housing. I'm terrified of them. But I'm so tired. I don't know what to do."

"I have an idea if you'd like to hear it."

Matt nodded. "I would, thank you."

"Why do you do it?"

Matt sighed. He was learning the whole thing was over so much quicker if he just gave in and answered Danny's inane questions as soon as he asked them. Hopefully he would have time to finish going over these court documents afterwards. "Do what?"

"Pretend to be blind."

Matt was taken aback. "I don't," he said with a huff. "And I have a lot of work to do, so-"

"Well I think the cane, sunglasses and Braille give people the impression that you're blind," Danny said in a cheery voice.

Matt clenched a fist. "The fact that I am actually blind might also have something to do with that assumption. Plus not all blind people wear sunglasses. In fact these days most don't. Not even Braille and canes are ubiquitous in the community. Some blind children with partial vision are forced to get by squinting at enlarged print instead of being allowed to learn Braille because the sighted people in charge of their education believe learning Braille-"

Danny laughed. "Come on man. No blind person could do what you do."

Matt felt sick. It hurt to be so casually dismissed, especially by someone who had seen just what he was capable of. "Different disabled people have different capabilities, just like abled people. Most sighted people can't do what I do either, and no one in the world can do what you do, besides you. I'm blind, but that's not all that I am."

Danny sighed. "Okay man, you convinced me." Danny's voice oozed sarcasm. "I guess you're really blind. Anyway, see you later. Oops sorry, didn't mean to offend you. I'll encounter you later."

Matt felt like he was going to throw up as his teammate walked away. Matt tried to become once again absorbed in the legal briefs in his computer that danced on his fingers, but it took awhile. Eventually however, Matt was able to put Danny from his mind. Matt convinced himself that he didn't know any better. He didn't know how hurtful his words were. But they hurt no less despite that.

This is so good! Foggy is so great with respecting Matt's agency and I like how all of the background supports that Foggy is strange/right and Matt was ready to accept help.

So, in the most recent season of Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt, one of the characters winds up at Litchfield prison from Orange is the New Black, along with a woman whose tongue was cut out by Yakuza. So let's have some fun and have some scenes from the Unified Netflix Universe, such as:

Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt: Kimmy is Foggy's Uber driver.
Orange is the New Black: Matt represents one of the Litchfield inmates.
Master of None: Karen goes on a Tinder date with Dev.

Bonus points for background easter eggs, like Danny and Luke listening to the Get Down Brothers, or Foggy remembering watching GLOW as a kid.

Go nuts, and the more shows you can pack into one scene, the better!
