This post is for prompts involving characters from Netflix's Daredevil.

Now that The Defenders prompt post is live, all crossovers between anyone in the four individual shows should go over there. Prompts only including characters that appear in Daredevil should still go here.

General

2. All comments must be anon. If you would like to be politely banned to avoid anon-failing, leave a logged-in comment on the mod post or pm the mod account.
3. Subject lines should only be changed if you're posting a prompt or a fill (indicators like OP or Author!Anon should go in the body of the comment).
4. RPF is allowed. Crossovers, characters from the extended Marvel Universe and comics canon are allowed, but must relate to the 2015 TV show in some way.
5. Prompts focusing on characters from other Netflix Marvel shows or the comics should go on their respective prompt posts, but crossovers with Daredevil can go here.
6. Drop a comment on the mod post if you have any questions or problems.

Would Sully even have it in him to scare this poor blind kid? Or would he even continue if he'd had Matt's door before the accident and realized what had happened? Or, ah hell, what about after Jack's death? Sully opens the door to Matt's room...only no Matt, the place has been cleared out... A few nights later, there's a new door in Sully and Mike's rotation, they know its located in an orphanage and they feel a little crummy about it, but hey, a job's a job...aaaaand there's Matt...

Mike: "Come on, Sully! You're messing up your record! Why can't you get a scare outta that ki-- What happened to your eye!!?!?! And your nose! Its bleeding! Oh man, its bleeding-!"
Sully: "I don't know Mike! I don't know how a small BLIND HUMAN CHILD can tell where I am or how he has such a strong right hook!"

I can dig it
... I would suggest a 5+1, but that would imply some really uncomfortable things about the monster company's policy on pediatric wards.

On the one hand that premise interests me as a drama or black comedy where Frank infiltrates a support group to get more intel on a target but ends up making some realizations about himself, but on the other hand... A crack piece where everyone else has the same idea and a variety of disguised marvel heroes sit around at a fake 'arms dealing anonymous' meeting Jessica is hosting before Matt arrives and points out that no actual arms dealers showed up and that the coffee and donuts were stolen out of a bakery's dumpster.

Elektra left Matt some very interesting things in her will
A mounted vigilante tries to bring their crime fighting steed to the Night Nurse
A Purple Child uses their powers to get a pet horsey (or 12)
The Skrulls did a test run on horses before impersonating humans
Stick's tired of relying on sighted drivers
The Chaste's short lived attempt to lure in child soldier candidates with a phony horse outreach program
Jessica learns the hard way that breaking into a stable requires more finesse than she normally uses
Turk needed a getaway vehicle and there weren't any better options around

Foggy likes how much warmer Matt feels when he has a fever and the way he clenches around him more when has a fever. Matt likes the sensation of Foggy using his ass for pleasure

They don't do it often because Matt still has to consent and not all conditions associated with his fevers make it possible but when it does...

+Matt unaroused while Foggy going to town, he gets off that later

Frank rescues Daredevil, but is forced to take him to the Avengers for medical care.

Frank's dog gets a second, second chance with a guy who thinks pizza is dog food.

Oh man....the people around him are just...so startled. DD is (in)famous for his absolute refusal to kill, how is it that TINY DD is so cool with it? Foggy would be sick over it, /this/ is how Matt was when Stick was still around? Frank is...angry, Red is finally making sense, but Red is a child who should not be making sense like this. Defenders and Avengers...hmm...

Does that lead to Clint and Frank bonding over taking care of the dog?
That'd be an odd bromance for sure, but there've been weirder.

(just a little warning, this is a little bit Matt/Foggy-ish. Wait, this is a lot Matt/Foggy-ish. And plenty OOC. Sorry if this isn't the one you're actually looking for, OP)

The rapid footsteps reaching for the warehouse no longer concerned him. They were late, too late. The blood reaching his nostrils wasn't an irritant, too used to the smell of blood. Not even this much blood bothers him now, unlike an hour ago. Not even the blood sticking on his armor, on his skin, on his jaw.

On his lips.

He heard himself breathe, his own heart beating fast. The footsteps were closing in, reaching for the rusty door at the side of the warehouse. The grit and dust moved as the door opens, however the newcomer no longer relevant. The form was familiar, even though he didn't understand why he would be here. But, there was a gasp, horrified and choked, as if he had any reason to be horrified.

There were only two heartbeats inside the warehouse. Himself, and the newcomer.

He felt his lips turned up in a smirk, the blood on his lips led a little trail to his chin. He tasted blood on his tongue, on his teeth--

("I love you... Always loved your smile, Matty...")

"You're late, Frank. I already took care of them."

There was something careful in Frank's movement as he stepped over the blood, puddles and square miles of the warehouse were covered in them. Matt knew, he could smell it.

He put them there. He couldn't see for shit, but his hearing was great. He heard every bit as they splashed and poured over every nearest surface. He thought he even revelled in the sound.

"Red," Frank said, his voice was so careful that Matt felt his smirk grown. "Red, can you hear me?"

The laugh that came out of Matt's lips was loud in the warehouse where only two of them were the only living ones. Even through his laughter, he heart Frank's heartbeat getiing faster, faster--

"Don't you know, Frank? I can't see for shit, but my hearing's great! Why wouldn't I hear you?"

("C-can you hear me? Fuck, I-I'm so scared, Matty. I h-hope you can't... I'm so sorry--")

Another tentative footstep. Matt could almost taste that bit of Fear, smell the sweat pouring from skin. The smell of copper around him, the sound of sirens in the distance, the absence of Foggy Nelson's hearbeat near his feet.

This is hell, his hell, and it will forever be his place.

He laughed again, the Devil in him roared its freedom. There was no God for him left to plead to, no trace of Heaven he could ever enjoy. There was no hope, no joy, no love left for him. There was only hell.

There was only the Devil and he takes his dues. And the world, the wicked and the sinner owe him Foggy Nelson.

Frank fingered his gun, wondering if he should shood the laughing man, still bathed in red. He couldn't even see the distinction where his suit begun or if it was just blood covering his form. Frank wasn't new to murder, to mass murder even. Frank was fine with it, even, as long as the people that was murdered deserved it.

And these people, lying lifelessly on the puddle of their blood deserved it.

But, this was Red. Red, who was so vehemant to the act of taking a life. Red, who simply doesn't kill

Red, whose mask was off, blood on his lips, bloodied fingermark on his cheek. Red, whose blindness had always made his uncovered stare glassy, unfocused and seeing through an object. However, there was always a kind of fire in them, a determination to face evil his way.

The Red in front of him has the eyes of the dead. Vacant and empty, even as he laughed so loudly. Then, he noticed the figure near Red's feet. Who, even through his laughter, didn't move that foot, not even an inch. He didn't need to look closer. The body, even though bloodied, was nowhere as bloodied as the rest of the warehouse.

Frank realized, this is not Red anymore. This is the Devil. And the Devil is playing judge, jury, and executioner.

And he's taking no prisoner.

A proper version of this would requireKaren to have history with Electra as well (which I could totally see happening if the opportunity provided itself)....

I'd hope they'd draw the line at "Maybe scaring kids who could DIE is a bad idea"

Once they realize that laughter is more powerful, they'd start trying to cheer up those kids in pediatric wards... Oh jeez...Mike trying to get a smile out of a newly blinded Matt : /

...they try to protect the other as they 'argue' over who is allowed to beat-up/arrest who (e.g. Not the Avengers)

Matt is drugged/sick/injured/whatever, and wakes up frantically asking why he can't see, and/or asking for his dad. Cue a very heartbroken Foggy reacting to this and trying to calm him down or make Matt remember what's going on (and possibly having to explain how he was blinded and that his dad is dead). Cue the h/c and angst, can be canon or college era!
(Yay, after months of reading this kinkmeme, I've finally posted something!)

Scene rewrite: What if, right before Karen's apartment got shot up, it was Matt who turned up at her door instead of Frank? How would the scene go in that case? How would the rest of the season go?

With the fourth season of Agents of SHIELD now available on Netflix, we can now go to the proper scene in "Uprising" and pause on the map of the cities hit by the Watchdogs. And it looks like one of them was New York.
Surely the Defenders didn't sit by idly when it first looked like there were Inhumans revolting in their city, and then Watchdogs started trying to murder possibly innocent Inhumans (and Matt, of course, would know which of them was lying). Well, Jessica might have, except that the Watchdogs didn't always have the exact identity of the Inhuman, so they might have thought it was her and forced her to get involved. Poor Luke might have had the same thing happen to him. What did each of them end up doing? What about Frank?
Also: aftermath. How ferociously did Trish and/or Karen assail the Watchdogs and their sympathizers in the media? Any lawsuits for Foggy to get involved in?

+Claire ends up in the company of the actual Inhuman that caused the Watchdogs to target New York, because of course she keeps running into these people, and maybe manages to save his/her life.
++I'd love a scene where Matt tracks down the EMP, and all four Defenders (maybe accompanied by Trish, Colleen, and/or anyone else inclined to fight with them, Frank also optional) take the Watchdogs down.

Could be interesting.

I wouldn't expect 12 year olds to remember to cover their tracks when dragging the bleeding masked guy/local legend into relative safety. They're 12, after all, and something really unusall (and exciting) just happened. It's not like there's a known script to follow, they have to make it up as they go along. Most adults would leave a fairly blatant trail.

But the rest could be played with pretty nicely. It might be interesting to see Daredevil through the mentality of a child, and have Matt confronted with a rather straight-forward and matter-of-factly way that children tend to view things, including Matt's... well, everything, really...
