This post is for prompts involving characters from Netflix's Daredevil.

Now that The Defenders prompt post is live, all crossovers between anyone in the four individual shows should go over there. Prompts only including characters that appear in Daredevil should still go here.

Rules:

General
1. YKINMKATO. Play nice. Respect others. If you don't like something, scroll on.
2. All comments must be anon. If you would like to be politely banned to avoid anon-failing, leave a logged-in comment on the mod post or pm the mod account.
3. Subject lines should only be changed if you're posting a prompt or a fill (indicators like OP or Author!Anon should go in the body of the comment).
4. RPF is allowed. Crossovers, characters from the extended Marvel Universe and comics canon are allowed, but must relate to the 2015 TV show in some way.
5. Prompts focusing on characters from other Netflix Marvel shows or the comics should go on their respective prompt posts, but crossovers with Daredevil can go here.
6. Drop a comment on the mod post if you have any questions or problems.

Yeah, not /quite/ what I'm aiming for, but for some reason, my brain started picturing Stick in the other roles Julie Andrews has played...

Oh goodness, sorry to have derailed the prompt. Honestly, I really would write at least a minifill to make up for it, but I'm just not knowledgeable enough on the topic. :(

There's a WIP along these lines on AO3 called Fallen. Not sure if the disability will be permanent though.

My favorite things about that issue were A. The fact that bystanders could see Daredevil was kissing a man and no one cared. And B. The fact that Mephisto looked like Tim Curry

What if Stick is the sorcerer who turned him into the beast?
I mean magical old person... The original Eric was really young... There might be potential there

For a modern day, he might need to borrow a bit from Shrek (By day one way by night another) but there could also be comedy in him trying to hide his true form. He could be a reclusive gym owner, or work from home and mainly worry about trying to keep his demon wings in his suit jacket for a skype meeting.

Does he later realize that part of the metallic smell is blood?

I have it embroidered and framed in my living room and instructions to have it engraved on my tombstone when I die, but that does not mean I will stop in my quest for ever more ridiculous descriptions of disgusting sounds. Are her tactics the same 'subtle as a chainsaw', or does she shift them a little?

How does everybody react when they realize it a one-woman army kicking the crap out of all those gangs?

Is the public more sympathetic towards her, the highly decorated veteran and mother who lost her kids and wife/husband all in one day?

Hell, does Matt even let her get arrested? We all know that he's a sucker for damsels in distress, though Frankie would probably stab him for thinking of her like that...

And pretty much everything else that would be affected by a simple change in gender...have some fun with it.

(And why am I picturing Gina Carano as "Frankie Castle"...?)

Really? In which comic was that?

Daredevil #266, from Ann Nocenti's Dareveil run in the 80s. He just finished Born Again and then Limbo opened up, releasing demons into Hell's Kitchen. He was drinking alone in a bar on Christmas and a strange woman approaches him, asking morality questions and then heatedly kissing him. Two men got into an argument that leads to murder, Matt pulls away in hirror because he failed to notice, them Mephisto reveals himself and taunts him for failing as a defender of innocents.

i'm not sure if this already exists but if it does, please tell me where i can find it... i'm itching to read a fic where frank takes care of matt during one of his heats. you could write it as an established relationship or a situation where matt suddenly goes into hear during patrol and frank has to take him home. idc, i just want this so bad!!

Matt is roused from his meditation by a pressing issue; he really has to pee. He'd been easily ignoring his bladder for the past three-ish hours, near as he can tell but suddenly its all he can do not to lose control on the spot. He squeezes his thighs together as hard as he can, curses whoever put them in this position even as he halfheartedly prays that what is about to happen doesn't happen.

Frank speaks then, throat clicking with dryness.

"You okay Red? Seem a little twitchy." Matt huffs a breath against his chest, annoyed at how well Frank reads him.

"It's probably too much to ask for a bathroom break, isn't it," he says, and feels the vibration against his cheek as Frank hums in agreement.

"Not the most accommodating kidnappers. Guess we'll just have to wait it out." Matt huffs against his collarbone, shuffles around as much as the confined space lets him, then huffs again.

"What?"

"I don't think I'm going to be able to wait it out Frank."

"Sure you can," Frank says, apparently not hearing how serious Matt is, "You're a big boy Red, I'm sure you can control yourself until we get out of here." Frank is wrong about many things, but Matt wish he wasn't wrong about this. The thing is, it's not like he's incontinent or anything. He's not a child, it's just-- somewhere along the line, between the fifteenth and the fiftieth time he'd been hit in the abdomen, his control over his bladder had...lessened, a little.

It's never usually an issue, and if his jog home at night sometimes becomes a sprint to get off his daredevil gear as fast as possible to relieve himself, then that's something nobody else needs to know. And yet, hear Frank is, about to be very intimate with how little control Matt really has. He grits his teeth against his embarrassment, feels his cheeks flare red as he gets out,

"Sorry to disappoint, but I don't think I will be." And Frank just-- doesn't say anything. Which is awful, and Matt would maybe list this as one of the worst moments of his life if he was being dramatic, if not for the moment that directly followed.

After the fight with Nobu Matt was more badly injured then Claire thought. After all, she's a nurse, not a surgeon. Let's just imagine he had internal bleeding and got worse after she and Foggy left. Or maybe he tried to get up and go after Foggy and made his wounds reopen? Whatever the problem is, he dies before anyone checks on him again.
Foggy finds out from Claire's phone call that night. His best friend just died. After he left him there alone. Because he was hurt that Matt didn't trust him and concerned about him. He heard him sobbing as he left, begging him not to go, and still left.
How will he cope? How will he forgive Matt? How will he forgive himself?

I love this prompt and all of the comments that followed. <3 I keep having the line "How do you solve a problem like a manipulative asshole?" sporadically sing through my head~

Someone on Reddit was saying that Foggy is passing off some of Jeri Hogarth's cases to Matt to keep him occupied and keep him from relapsing into Daredevil, and that's how Matt comes into contact with Jessica.
