ETA2: we have a delicious account! it's only got the first ten pages of prompts at the moment, but mod is very slowly adding the rest. mod would greatly appreciate it if you put keywords in the subject of your prompts, because figuring out one-word summaries is hard. BAM look at that gorgeous take on canon characterization

(i think it's easy to get caught up in the "goddamn murdock you spend a lot of time getting beat up and bleeding" and forget that matt is in point of fact a hyper-violent vigilante with anger issues)

YES, right? I mean, we have canon scenes where he just continues to punch and punch after the guy he's attacking is down. It's disturbing and I think he knows it (thus the speech about his dad and having the devil in him and such) but gets off on it anyway/can't help himself. But in a sexual situation I feel like he'd give up the control because he knows he has this problem, because the alternative to getting out his rage through violence is to have it beaten out of him.

idk I just really love Matt Murdock beating people and being beaten by people. As long as he's miserable I'm happy.
