Matt really enjoys hurting people, but feels guilty about it. In kinky sex, he takes the sub role because he's afraid if he was the dom he'd lose control and hurt his partner too badly, ignore a safeword, something like that.

Bonus points for Matt finally domming and actually losing control and ignoring a safeword and feeling terrible about everything.

(i think it's easy to get caught up in the "goddamn murdock you spend a lot of time getting beat up and bleeding" and forget that matt is in point of fact a hyper-violent vigilante with anger issues)

YES, right? I mean, we have canon scenes where he just continues to punch and punch after the guy he's attacking is down. It's disturbing and I think he knows it (thus the speech about his dad and having the devil in him and such) but gets off on it anyway/can't help himself. But in a sexual situation I feel like he'd give up the control because he knows he has this problem, because the alternative to getting out his rage through violence is to have it beaten out of him.

idk I just really love Matt Murdock beating people and being beaten by people. As long as he's miserable I'm happy.

It had taken a long time to get here, Matt mused as Foggy's hand carefully tightened on his throat. The vague burn that was the kernel of oxygen starvation was a distraction from... well, everything, but right now he just cared that it quieted the roar in his head that made him want to grab his lover by the hair and...

He could feel Foggy on top of him, still in his pajamas and with one knee planted firmly on the mattress just so Matt could rut against his thigh.

"Doing alright, Matty?" Foggy was almost as breathless as Matt. He could still breathe, shallow and numbing and the opposite of what Matt wanted. He tipped his head back yet further and let Foggy's hand flatten another fraction. The 'yes' signal.

"Shit." A reverent curse from a man Matt could hurt in ten thousand ways. Most of them wouldn't even leave a mark, but Matt couldn't help but shudder at the thought of ones that would, of running his hand over Foggy's back and feeling heated stripes from a cane or round spots wet with blood that Matt would bite again and again until Foggy was screaming, until he had to reach up and pin his arms, growl into his skin that they weren't done yet.

He came, splattering his shame onto his own naked belly and Foggy's ratty pajama bottoms, and at the same moment he reached up for Foggy's wrist. The release came hard on the heels of release, leaving Matt wheezing and free on the sheets. For a second, the rush was overwhelming. He couldn't hear over the ringing in his ears, couldn't form the fire into a world, and he knew he deserved it as it washed over him, burning him almost completely away.

When things started to make sense again, he found he was tucked into Foggy, curled into him with his head under his chin and Foggy's whole, nude, unblemished torso (skin contact was one of Matt's recovery musts. There had been a lot of talking about it) right there for him to touch. He did, and let Foggy murmur comfort to him, and felt like maybe he had done his job.

Foggy was safe from him.
