Because Matt and Foggy are drift compatible like you wouldn't believe. I have seen one fic about it before but I'd love to see them working as an established Jaeger team too (though feel free to write them starting as well, maybe Foggy suggests they try out because he already knows they'll be drift compatible). And they're one of the best just because they drift so well together (if you can have them take down a Kaiju at some point I will give you extra love).

Bonus points for fitting in the fact that, though Matt can manage perfectly well without his sight (maybe enhanced sense aren't so weird in the future or it's still secret take your pick), when he drifts with Foggy he gets to see things again.

So I saw the prompt where Fisk was a vampire, A+ prompt btw, and I couldn't stop thinking about switching it up a little.

So: Matt is a vampire. He's still blind, but his enhanced senses (due to vampire reasons, in this AU) still very much help with that. He hasn't actually "come out" as a vamp though, for reasons largely concerning the fact that the world is still rather dubious about the concept of vampires on the whole. Most people still don't believe in them, and those that do generally think them a bad thing. As a result, nobody knows of Matt's vampirism but Matt himself (and possibly Stick, who may have turned him? IDK.)

But then Fisk finds out, because Matt briefly loses control of his bloodlust as Daredevil or something. And Fisk is FASCINATED.

(It's up to you where you go from there, really! But if you want to throw in hot vampire sex then be my guest! :D)

Matt is asexual and doesn't like having sex, while Foggy loves sex. So when they enter a romantic relationship Matt is reluctantly ready to offer to keep it open so that Foggy can have sex with other people. As it turns out it's a non-issue: Foggy is more than happy to get his orgasm fix via his hand in the shower, and spend the rest of the time cuddling and bantering and spending time with Matt.

Karen, Foggy, Claire, I don't care. Just give me a very angsty piece of Matt not knowing how to process suddenly being in an unknown body, being able to see and having his other senses be so weakened. Then the other person being completely overwhelmed by the combination of enhanced senses and blindness.

I want Foggy and Karen arguing about whose turn it is to clean the toilet, Matt making dinner for everyone while listening to books on tape, Foggy teaching Claire how to knit.

The fluffier the better.

What if, in a world where everyone has a soulmate, the universe doesn't always get it right?

Maybe Matt doesn't have a mark, or the person destined for him died before they even met. Maybe Foggy dated his soulmate in college and it was an incredibly toxic relationship even though Foggy was desperate to make it work because y'know destiny, or they met and nothing happened and they went their separate ways. Do people assume Matt and Foggy are soulmates? Is it actually considered taboo to settle down with someone who you aren't destined for? I don't mind, just anything where Matt and Foggy aren't actually meant to be together, according to the universe, but are anyway.

The above prompt got me thinking, and here's where my brain went: what if, rather than meeting and falling in love with Vanessa, Fisk instead meets and falls in love with Foggy?

+10 bonus if Foggy is not Fisk's type at all. Like, he usually quietly pines over people who are carefully spoken and well-collected and know about art and have steel behind their eyes, whereas Foggy is funny and dorky and texts Fisk bad puns and/or cat pictures half-way through serious evil-stuff meetings. Also, if Fisk really quickly realises that Foggy would never approve of his lifestyle if he knew, but can't bring himself to break it off with him.
+100 if Vanessa is still actually in the picture and her and Fisk are BFFs.
+1000 if at some point Matt puts two and two together and realises that the sweet and shy Wilson that Foggy's going on dates with is that Wilson. Cue the dilemma of 'how do I tell my best friend that his boyfriend's actually capable of smashing someone's head off with a car door'.

Make it angsty, make it fluffy, whatever. Even make it dark!Foggy if that's your jam.

There have been tons of fics already dealing with how even if Matt doesn't necessarily need Foggy to guide him or narrate the world to him, he likes it and it's not really just a cover for his senses. Basically, Matt reassures Foggy that their friendship was real, even though he's Daredevil, and he genuinely likes all of Foggy's little quirks.

How about a fic dealing with Matt's quirks/little things he does for Foggy? Here's the actual prompt:

All throughout law school, Matt would let Foggy know whenever he thought a girl was interested in him and encourage Foggy to go for it. Foggy would be skeptical but was always surprised when Matt was right, even if things don't work out in the end. Post season 1, Matt still does this, but is a little more open about it now.

++Major bonus points for bisexual!foggy...maybe things never work out with those girls because Foggy is already kinda sorta in love with Matt (and Matt never realized)

so a prompt here asked for Charlie or any of the other actors waking up in the MCU somehow. this is the opposite--the title is borrowed from SPN's "The French Mistake" which has the same premise, so!

Matt (or Foggy, or Karen, or anybody else or all of them) wake up on the set of Daredevil. for Matt, it's disorienting enough being in another world entirely, but then he finds out that the guy playing him is not blind. possibly by getting the scripts. oh shit is probably the first thing that pops into mind.

bonus points for:
- more than one. Matt and Foggy freaking out over their lives being on display, literally, for millions of people to watch. or read.
- oh my god let them find the comics.
- in Matt's case, everybody just starts thinking Charlie's gone method all of a sudden if he's putting Matt's American accent on all the time. and wow when did you get so good at doing stunts?
- they Google themselves. results vary. at one point someone runs across the Silver Age comics and it is just hilarious (at least until they hit Miller's arc).

That's it. No preference on the exact details but something on the fluffier side would be great (not that I have any idea how to do knitting angst)

Maybe Matt owns dunkin donuts for some reason? maybe no one knows what the DD stands for? (bc it's a secret, for obvious reasons.)

Matt can tell that Foggy hasn't been himself lately. He's been unusually subdued, even withdrawn. Matt does some poking around, discovers that Foggy's recent significant other is hurting him, and unleashes hell upon them.

(Sorry if someone's already asked this!) I've read a lot of fics where Matt's Catholicism is never really an issue when it comes to his relationships with men, but I'd really love to see a story where it's a BIG ISSUE. Maybe it's Matt's first time with a man but he can't go through with it because he thinks it's wrong? Maybe he goes through with it and has a gigantic guilt trip afterwards (potentially followed by cuddles)? Go nuts! I just want to see poor Matt being torn between his emotions and his beliefs.

I love Matt/Foggy (especially college!Matt/Foggy), but you can go with any male character you think fits best here.

How to mend a broken friendship.

Basically, Foggy and Karen holding Matt down and fucking him. With emphasis on Matt's strength as Daredevil, but he's holding back, muscles straining as he's forcing himself to lay back and take it.

Bonus points for Matt crying and/or Karen and Foggy dirtytalking Matt.

Wesley is completely obedient to Fisk, right? So what if Fisk orders someone (a henchman, someone else, this is totally flexible - it could also be Fisk himself if you want) to fist Wesley while commanding Wesley to make as little noise as possible? Bonus points if Wesley uses his own tie to muffle himself.

The little aches and pains are really starting to add up. Matt's not as young as he used to be.

That's basically it. Just Matt dealing with some sort of chronic daily pain. Can be Gen or Matt/Foggy.

EXACTLY WHAT IT SAYS. give me matt absolutely wrecked, the drooling, eyes rolling back, toes curling, can't form any words because he's currently not even on this mortal plane kind of condition. foggy thinks it's awesome.

The baddies of Hell's Kitchen are starting to figure this Daredevil guy out. They know now that the last thing he would ever want to do is harm an innocent. They kidnap some schmuck off the street and lure Daredevil to their hideout, and the only way that poor schmuck they nabbed is getting out of there alive is if Daredevil takes him while they watch.

That poor schmuck just happens to be Foggy, who wound up being in the wrong place, at the wrong time.

Matt literally cannot find a way out of this situation other than through it, so he does it, and he feels completely horrible about it, because he's been in love with Foggy for years, and this was never supposed to happen. He would never willingly hurt his best friend like this. Matt starts crying and apologizing, and even though Foggy's in a ton of pain, he winds up being the one comforting Matt, both during and after.

(Yep. I am a horribl person.)

I just want to see someone comment on them. Maybe they make fun of them or are incredibly charmed by them because seriously, those socks are ridiculously cute.
