So S2 is coming in March! And as excited as we all are, I’m sure we’re all sad that it means that older prompts on the meme might just get forgotten about. So, this challenge is designed to keep us all inspired for the next couple of months, highlight the very best prompts on the meme for newbies and people who come post-S2 and want to get in the wayback machine, and just be fun for everyone!

There are multiple ways to participate in this challenge, even if you’re only a reader or lurker!


1. NOMINATE PROMPTS AND DISCUSS NOMINATIONS

This challenge is about discovering the hidden gems, forgotten about favourites, and most talked about, inspiring ideas hidden in the 6,000+ prompts on this meme and distilling them down to the favourites, the best of the best.

We need you to nominate your favourite unfilled prompts (from Prompt Post #1 to Prompt Post #8) across the following 21 subcategories:

THE FEELS

• Whump or Hurt/Comfort
• Romantic Tropefic (fake marriage or dating, alternate first meeting, etc.)

You must choose only one category even if it fits into multiple categories (so an AU doesn’t have to go into the AU category, or an Ableism prompt doesn’t have to go there but can be considered hurt/comfort, for example). You don’t have to be the OP of the original prompt. You can nominate as many prompts as you’d like in as many categories as you’d like.

How does your nomination rise to the top?

Well, if it’s the only one in its category, it’s the winner by default. But if it’s not, a points system will be applied as follows:

• 1 point - each brief comment seconding the nomination (+1, seconded, *camping out*, etc.)
• 2 points - each additions to the prompt (suggestions on what could happen, conversation even if it veers OT that’s related, etc.) and comments on those additions
• 3 points - each mini-fill completed on the fill under 1000 words

This applies only to the new repost thread. What does this mean? Encourage people to second your nomination! And second others nominations if you want them to win too! We want to ensure that the prompts that win are the ones that everyone is really excited to see filled.

If it gets filled, fantastic! It will be disqualified from being nominated, but everyone’s happy because someone filled it! :D

2. SIGN UP AS A WRITER OR MULTIMEDIA FILLER

We are looking for writers, fan artists, or other multimedia artisans willing to commit to participating in the challenge from February 1 - March 15th.

The sign-up deadline is January 31, 2015. To sign up, click here to indicate the name you would like to use for the challenge (which does not have to be your fandom name) and the categories you are most interested in filling for and provide your email address to the challenge mod. If you are contributing something besides writing, indicate what that is as well.

Multimedia options include:

• Fan Art
• Podfic
• Fanvid
• Fan Mix
• GIFs
• Meta

Don’t take the list above as limiting. Any other suggested creative contribution (in case there’s someone out there who crochets or does flash animations or something) would also be welcomed.

You can state that you wish to write AND provide another kind of fill if you’re willing to fill a prompt in more than one category.

On February 1st, 21 winning prompts will be announced, one in each category. The prompts will be first come-first serve, with one writer and one multimedia filler being able to claim each one here on the meme. You can choose to write more than one fill for more than one category if you want. Fillers working on the same prompt are encouraged to be collaborative.

Written fills must be a minimum of 2500 words.
The deadline for all fills is March 15, 2015.

Once the prompts are all claimed, the fillers working on them will be announced to the kink meme community and there will be an open discussion area here on that prompt so that people can encourage you as you write, including offers to beta, new ideas or thoughts, and general cheerleading.

3. GENERAL CHEERLEADING AND WORD-SPREADING!

For this challenge to be successful, we need to bring back some people who may have left the kink meme or who may not realize one of their prompts is being boosted. We need to encourage writers and other fillers not just to sign up, but also to finish their fills. We may need pinch hitters and betas and additional organizers to catalogue the prompts nominated, etc. Primarily, we just need an active group of people willing to keep this meme and this challenge interesting.

So please spread the word even if you’re not participating, here and on Tumblr and in whatever fandom space you’re in with Daredevil fandom! And encourage the great conversations and community on this meme who make it what it is! This challenge is for everyone, and so we hope you all participate and enjoy it.

Re: Matt/Foggy, Undercover in a high class sex club

"Strip."

"Foggy, what? I can't let people see me." He couldn't get out either, and the guards were getting closer.

"Look Matt, it's a sex club, I've paid for entry, if we look like we're having sex..." Foggy's hands were tugging at his disguise, and Matt reluctantly began cooperating - he was right.

"Can we hide my face somehow?" He stuffed his clothes in one of the chests, burrying the outfit under the rest of the clothes in it.

"Tokens cover a sub too, pretend to be really shy - should I call you something different?" Foggy was pushing Matt down to his knees as he spoke, and Matt thought quickly.

"Mikey, I'll remember to answer to that." Close enough to Matty, and to Mike. He clutched Foggy's thighs and began nuzzling his way towards his crotch just as security burst in.

"What the fuck?" Matt made a point of whimpering as Foggy yelled, and began berating the security guards. "Down Mikey." Matt obediently folded to the floor, hiding his face in his arms, knowing that Foggy would make enough of a scene to at least get them out of there without his identity coming out.

Most of the security team cleared out, with their leader still apologising, and Foggy turned back to crouch in front of Matt.

"Up." Foggy guided him up to rest his head against his chest, hiding his face. "You, find something I can use as a veil for my pet."

"Yes sir." The guard Foggy'd snapped at seemed grateful for something to do, and it didn't seem to occur to him to wonder where Matt's 'original veil' was. "Uh...is this any good sir?"

"It'll have to do." Foggy sounded impatient as he took the length of cloth the guard was offering, and turned them around. "Lift your head a bit Mikey."

The cloth felt gauzy as Foggy tied it around his head, hiding his face. The light floral perfume on it was faded - probably a part of some employee's costume. Just as Foggy was finishing someone else arrived, expensive cologne and dressed in a business suit of some sort. Foggy turned them both towards him, hand at Matt's hip and Matt hoped his makeshift veil hid the blush he could feel heating his cheeks at Foggy's show of proprietary affection.

"I'm very sorry that you were interrupted sir." The man didn't get a chance to continue before Foggy began another rant. Matt focused on trying to map out the rest of the building and locate his targets, see if he could salvage anything, make torturing himself with what he'd never have worthwhile. Then the functionary offered Foggy access to the VIP rooms; the ones with even better soundproofing than the rest of the building. He tugged at Foggy's sleeve to get his attention.

"What is it Mikey?" Foggy stroked his hair as he spoke, casually possessive.

"Can we, please sir?"

"You'd like that huh?" He turned his attention back to the other man. "Get me a blindfold mask that will cover my pet's full face, then make the arrangements."
