Slavery AU; Foggy gets Matt for a college graduation present

Orphans get enslaved if they don't get adopted, and Foggy winds up getting Matt as a pet. Only he hates slavery and helps Matt hide his status, lets him go to law school with him and Matt still becomes DD. Cue epic fallout during Nelson v. Murdock.

There was some fun discussion going on in the prompt and I was sad to see it die. Someone wrote a few scenes, maybe they'd like to write some more?
