SA - just had a thought. what if the story was daredevil?? or just like a really ott dramatic superhero story, and the world they got read into was our world where superheroes just are not a thing. and foggy loves it because, yay, i don't have to put up with my best friend's vigilante schtick anymore, and matt's like *pout* i miss my schtick.

Hopefully it could end with Stick being brought up on charges.
(Not that he wouldn't escape prison within a week, but still)

Could be done really serious or cracky.
That one lawyer show where William Shatner shoots his own client (an admitted murderer/rapist) in the kneecaps comes to mind

What if he pulls the 'I'm giving you one last chance, do not return unless you've completed the mission' schtick and sends them after Daredevil (since he knows Matt won't kill or abandon them)

The more grimdark clinging-to-a-church-steeple-in-the-rain version would be sending them on suicide missions (some of which Matt is able to prevent) or saying that he will only continue with one more student, whoever brings in Daredevil (Dead or alive? Dead or deader?) gets that honor, everyone else is Zuko'd out. Then Matt has to deal with homicidal youths attacking him and each other.

Doesn't matter to me which one of them is giving and which one is receiving, since either way there would be a delicious element of Matt knowing and doing it anyway. I just want some hot club-bathroom pseudo-anonymous blowjobs. And then possibly later on some feelings.

i love that tony apparently got so caught up in sleek 'futuristic' appearances and AI systems that he forgot his gizmos won't work for everyone, and also that matt accidentally entered thor's guest code without realizing he was even interacting with a holographic interface. the other avengers' reactions were priceless.

Also, what's your preferred age range? K-12's or just Tweens and under
(Bc what's a Stick story without implied child death?).
I'm still thinking about what pace the fucker could possibly be going at, but he could also be in charge of everybody's rejects. So far I've only seen the short where Stone trains Elektra, gotta read up and see what the fuck the Chaste are even doing besides taking kids to weird basements to prepare for the skeleton war

Man, Vol 2 starting with Lowlife is pretty much all about Matt hitting the skids and his mental health deteriorating past the point where he could have got help. It's horrible and culminates with a fucking clusterfuck of awful which in hindsight you decide you should have seen coming a mile away.

Vol 2 is brilliant, and the Devil in Cell Block D storyline is AMAZING.

(Inspired by another prompt) So Matt and Foggy never met in college,Matt had some other roommate (who may or may not be his bestfriend in this universe,it's up to the filler) and so Foggy kept working at Landman & Zack and Matt still went on to become Daredevil. Nowadays,Matt is trying to take out Bullseye,and after some snooping,discovers his arch nemesis has an adorable ( and totally out of his league) boyfriend named Foggy.Matt starts cosying up to Foggy to get to Bullseye. And then he falls for him.Whoops

...He doesn't really mind,considering the dude's buying (stealing?) him fancy shit and threatening other baddies on his behalf.

Matt on the other hand,is seething with rage.

I don't know if you've read it yet, but your prompt reminds me a bit of this ChuckleVoodoos fic.

OMG (anon who posted the ideas bit above) it's Perfect! I love how easily and well-fitting you slot Matt and Frank's established relationship between the lines :3 everyone is wonderfully in character, and I can't wait to see what happens next!

Oh, I'd like to see this! Maybe they could help him find an outlet? Maybe a play fight/pillow fight?

Ok so Matt is pretty obviously from a working class background, and i've now developed this headcanon that Matt's grandfather was a proper old school union activist. I know I have no canonical justification for this and I don't care. Considering that that quote about the Murdock boys was probably originally about Matt's grandfather, there's room for an interpretation that he was a real hardline, rabble rousing union man, and of course Matt being a sucker for male authority figure would have really looked up to him and absorbed those values.

Anyway I want to see adult Matt taking on cases defending strikers, and activists, or going on protest marches, or arguing against all those people in college who are into identity politics and Daredevil surreptitiously showing up on picket lines, protecting strikers and beating up scabs. Basically, I want to see Matt Murdock, the old school labour movement lefty.

I think it kinda fits with the fat that Matt obviously truly believes in justice, but he can't quite bring himself to trust the legal system to bring it. An entirely justified view considering the historical relationship between the law and the labour movement.

Tony Stark wishes he would stop, too.
