Which side are you on?

Ok so Matt is pretty obviously from a working class background, and i've now developed this headcanon that Matt's grandfather was a proper old school union activist. I know I have no canonical justification for this and I don't care. Considering that that quote about the Murdock boys was probably originally about Matt's grandfather, there's room for an interpretation that he was a real hardline, rabble rousing union man, and of course Matt being a sucker for male authority figure would have really looked up to him and absorbed those values.

Anyway I want to see adult Matt taking on cases defending strikers, and activists, or going on protest marches, or arguing against all those people in college who are into identity politics and Daredevil surreptitiously showing up on picket lines, protecting strikers and beating up scabs. Basically, I want to see Matt Murdock, the old school labour movement lefty.

I think it kinda fits with the fat that Matt obviously truly believes in justice, but he can't quite bring himself to trust the legal system to bring it. An entirely justified view considering the historical relationship between the law and the labour movement.
