RPF is allowed. Crossovers, characters from the extended Marvel Universe and comics canon are allowed, but must relate to the 2015 TV show in some way.

Discussion not related to the prompt should be moved to the discussion/off-topic post.

Drop a comment on the mod post if you have any questions or problems.

Prompts

plot twist- it's actually self driving with just enough give that Matt will think he's driving it. Tony assures Foggy that it's perfectly safe somewhere out of Matt's range of hearing.

Not the OP, but... LOL! :-D Yep. And I'm currently writing that second fill, so I know what the hell you're talking about!

“Is this the fantasy, Foggy?” Matt’s voice is acid and broken glass. “I spill all my demons, and maybe cry it out on your shoulder, and then, what--you love me whole?” He spits blood onto the asphalt. “Fuck.”

“I’m sorry,” says Foggy. “I just thought--”

Matt snorts. “You thought wrong.” He lists into the wall as he turns away, and Foggy can hear him bite back a cry, but Matt keeps walking, arm hanging useless, one leg dragging.

Foggy runs. “Matt. You can’t--you need--”

“Don’t tell me what I need,” Matt snarls. Foggy reaches out, grabs his uninjured shoulder, and Matt jerks back, takes a wild swing that sends Foggy crashing into a fire escape.

“Fuck,” says Matt. The fire is gone; now his voice is shaking. “Fuck. Fuck. Foggy. Foggy. I’m sorry. Foggy. Oh, god.”

Foggy blinks, tastes copper. “I’m okay,” he says--Matt’s blow wasn’t much more than a glance, and his own momentum did most of the rest. He feels his face, gingerly--one cheek feels raw, but nothing broken, nothing even all that bruised. “I’m okay,” he says, again, more confidently.

Matt shakes his head. He’s sagged against the fire escape, like a puppet with his strings cut, and Foggy can see his shoulders shaking. “I’m sorry.”

Foggy settles down next to him--doesn’t touch. “I know, buddy.”

They sit there for a minute, and then Matt offers him the burner phone--tentatively, like a peace offering, “Claire has a car.” Foggy knows it’s as close as he’s going to come to admitting that he can’t walk home.

“You sure?” asks Foggy. Matt nods.

After he’s hung up, Matt sags into Foggy’s shoulder, just enough to make it clear it’s deliberate.

“You wanna talk about it?” Foggy asks.

“No,” says Matt. He’s quiet for a minute, and then he says, “I’m sorry. Look, Foggy, it’s not--it’s not you, okay?”

“I know,” says Foggy. “But he almost killed you, man. You can’t just--”

“Yeah,” says Matt. “I can.”

“I’m not okay with this,” Foggy tells him.

“I know,” says Matt, and they wait in silence for the rumbling clatter of Claire's car.

I love how once a post someone forgets Matt is blind. I don't mean that in a cruel way, I just think it's hilarious.

Plot twist: Matt charms the AI(its Tony ofc there's an AI) into letting him drive while the AI tells him where to go.

Foggy would wildly dash from 'holy SHIT Matt we're lawyers we CAN'T DO ILLEGAL SHIT LIKE THIS' to 'holy SHIT Matt look at all this potential money we'll NEVER ACTUALLY HAVE'.

I'm sitting here with popcorn waiting for September, because gimme all the new clueless Inhumans that got powers because they happened to buy a bottle of health supplements in Walmart that one time.

OH IT WOULD KILL HIM it'd be so frustrating.

Holy shit, the NUNS.

And then the disembodied voice politely states, "Sir/Madam, I would strongly advise against your current course of action. If you do not abandon the vehicle in the next thirty seconds, I must inform you that your photography and location will be reported to authorities."

Tony's made solid holograms in tv shows and probably comics canon.

He could easily do a Multi-camera real-time 3D hologram display with multiple angles and easy maneuverability (to showcase specific parts, so Matt doesn't have to move his hands and risk upsetting his balance, foggy can just move the display model around so the thighs or whatever are at easy viewing level.)
