Since it's a safehouse, there's probably only the bare essentials. Which means Frank will probably have to join Matt under the covers and give him a good rubbing *coughs* to warm him up, of course.

This website http://www.nhs.uk/Conditions/Hypothermia/Pages/Treatment.aspx says: "If possible, give the person warm drinks (not alcohol) or high-energy foods, such as chocolate, to help warm them up. But only do this if they can swallow normally – ask them to cough to see if they can swallow" and now I cannot get the image of Frank feeding Matt some chocolate (maybe small bites, half melted, mouth-to-mouth because Matt is still out of it?) out of my head.

Oooh yess and shaming pro-registration government by bringing in Human Rights lawyers from the U.N. as well.

A lot of people knew about the quest to save the little girl, Frank would've probably heard about it too.

Any gives Matt an ice bath. Because the red costume probably doesn't breath very well.

Maybe Matt wants to go fight crime while injured and Frank and Claire keep him in bed... Or Frank and Matt take care of Claire after a long shift, or Matt and Claire make Frank too tired to have nightmares.

I'm just thinking about how Luke Cage and Jessica Jones had to decide what was morally right but also how to keep their child safe. And how that ended up being Luke staying and fighting while Jessica and Danielle went to Canada.

And how many other heroes were in the same situation? Their covers had just been blown so any family they had was in danger from their enemies but they couldn't stick around to defend them. And who was lucky enough to have the funds/family connections to get to a safe space? How many dependents were in danger from losing their housing because their funds were frozen and their friends were distancing themselves from the situation?

matt doing everything he can to have his clients declared innocent, and if (when) he can't manage that, at least getting them reduced sentences and more humane prison conditions. matt bringing constant appeals and civil lawsuits on behalf of the captured heroes. everybody in the underground hero community knows his name and face.

YEssss, exactly. He gets heroes set free because the evidence about them being a hero is pretty circumstantial (Bonus: he makes a joke about with how shoddy the evidence is, someone could think he's Daredevil. Because he's a cocky little shit) or illegally obtained or whatever.

And then you get to the minors who are supposed to be treated as adults en masse, not on an individual basis based upon their "crimes"? You can't tell me Matt would not have a soft spot for the 14 year-old who just wanted to save someone from a hold up being tried and convicted.

foggy is right there beside him. karen does lots of investigative legwork. claire runs an underground medical service. but daredevil is nowhere to be seen -- matt is just too busy with everything else.

And Brett passes Nelson & Murdock's info on to anyone in need and Melvin helps repair any damaged armor since they have no one else to go to.

then afterward, when daredevil reappears and makes really terrible excuses for where he was for the last year (because matt is still a shitty liar),

Shitty, awful liar Murdock is my life.

"you see these scars? i got them while i was fighting [person], buying time for people to escape [event]. what did YOU do during the war, huh, man without fear?'

and matt, who is completely and utterly DONE with this shit, pulls off his mask and says, 'my day job.'

And you know Matt would still feel bad because he would feel he didn't do enough.

Hot. I meant hot. Damn touchscreen keyboards :P

Hee, that's great! :D

Karen finds a baby on the way to work, and brings it in from the cold while they wait for CPS to come pick it up...but none of them have the first idea how to care for a baby for that length of time (could be a while if they have the same bureaucratic problems that most organizations do...). So Matt does the only thing he can think of: he calls the one person he knows who has had kids.

Cue the Punisher arriving with diapers, wipes, formula, and an assortment of rattles and doing what needs to be done. Also interacting with the avocadoes, especially the astounded Karen and Foggy.

Aw, yes! Dad Frank is the best.

"Why d-d-do you have ch-chocolates...here?"

"Mostly to calm down small children. And large ones."

"Y-y-you're s-s-s-sure they're n-not for you?"

"...Cough, or you're not getting any."

Matt acting all smug and vindicated in the background. "I told you Frank was okay, guys."

"Say that again Choir Boy."

"Nothing! Wouldn't want anything happening to your reputation..."

So the alleged conga-line of girls he slept with in college was basically a sexual 80's training montage? What song would it be set to?

I kind of love this.

Can you imagine, Matt being like 'I will leave you two alone' and he goes off with one of the other Avengers and Foggy is like 'Matt no! Come back. We were suppose to hangout and you tricked me.'

Meanwhile, Steve tries to befriend Foggy while Foggy is torn between pouting and outrage because Matt left. Somehow Steve gets to talking about how Bucky would always leave him while he went on dates and while Bucky tired to get him on double dates but it wasn't the same as hanging out with just Bucky.

Then there is a montage of Steve and Foggy doing various activities and yelling 'AND ANOTHER THING!' as they start tell each other another time they were jealous of attention their best friend was giving to another person.

It ends with Steve and Foggy holding each other because they miss their best friends.

Ah, and yet again Kinkmeme has taught me that a thing I didn't know was a sex thing is a sex thing.

It stands to reason that Matt is probably pretty strong.

After Foggy finds about Daredevil, one of the other things he is angry about is that they could have reenacted Time of my Life/Final Dance scene with the lifts and all from Dirty Dancing this entire time and Matt never told him that it was possible.

Bonus for
1) Foggy was really into Dirty Dancing in college. When he got drunk with Matt he tired to get Matt to learn the steps.
2) Matt reluctantly agrees to learn the steps for real (this counts for like 5 birthday presents okay) and they reenact the scene.
3)It makes Foggy's dreams come true.

Following on from the 'Claire becomes the unofficial nurse to the Avengers' prompts...
Superheroes help out Claire, anyway they can. Tony takes care of her phone bill, Natasha appoints herself designated driver on girl's nights out, Steve and Clint pull security duty in the ER, whatever.

Bonus if other heroes get involved too.
