consider this: teen!matt getting formal and safe education about his abilities. teen!matt being surrounded by other superpowered teens + adults. teen!matt having access to specialised therapy. teen!matt being in a supportive environment where he is free to be transparent about his abilities. teen!matt being classed a hero and being assigned teen!foggy as his sidekick. sky high au.

I'm always on board with the Matt/Happiness ship.

OMG I'm imagining the video rn and then a bunch of people in YouTube decide to make edits after edit. Foggy felt so bad at first, until Karen shows them the one edit with the 'Hmm what'cha say' playing the moment the bat hits Matt. All three of them are dying at the end of it.

I can just see Foggy with some seemingly stupid and weak superpower that's really really effective when combined with Matt's abilities? Idk what but it makes them just the best team.

And Matt and Foggy would totally lawyer out the Hero/Sidekick divide because it was very much stupid.

(Basically I want this!!!)

matt constantly correcting people that refer to foggy as a sidekick like "his name is foggy and he's my partner , thank you very much" i 100% agree that they definitely would find a way to abolish the hero/sidekick dichotomy

I have like started writing down my ideas. I can't promise that I'll manage to turn them into a coherent story but I'll try.

Or "law school era!Matt tries to get Foggy laid and it backfires spectacularly".

So after their first awkward conversation, still kinda baffled by how easily Foggy befriended him, Matt, being the weird loner puppy that he is, takes his wingman duties very seriously, however, he ends up accidentally (or maybe subconsciously, because he may be just a teensy bit jealous) charming the pants off of 90% of the women Foggy tries to get with.

Matt feels extremely guilty about it, so when Foggy comes out as bi/pan to him, he gets an idea: He starts rumours that the two of them "experimented" a little and that Foggy is phenomenal in bed, seriously.

While making up stories about Foggy's sexual prowess, Matt realises that, holy SHIT, he's actually really into these fantasies, maybe he does like his roommate in more than a friendly way?

Too bad that at this point, the rumours have taken a life of their own and it turns out that Matt's strategy actually worked: Enter Marci, who starts dating Foggy, but thankfully never tells him what gave her that idea.

Until years later, that is.

After Foggy discovers that Matt is Daredevil, he not only stocks his desk drawer and apartment with spare canes, but he has one in his messenger bag that he carries around. It not only comes in handy with Matt, but also saves Foggy's own life on occasions.

This is brilliant. Foggy became a criminal mastermind to help out Matt and keep him and their city safe. That is oddly adorable. ^_^

It's ok, there's still hope as long as you haven't thought of how Stick would torture Matt over it. Bb Matt's been wetting since he came to St Agnes. He can hide it from the nuns to an extent, but Stick can smell it unless he scrubs himself raw.

Remember that scene where Stick kept Matt in a hold for who knows how long? Matt doesn't usually have problems staying dry during the day, but sometimes Stick keeps him in the hold for so long that he can't hold it. Stick uses shame and negative reinforcement (ie rubbing Matt's face in the puddle) to 'motivate' Matt to get better at breaking holds or some shit.

And that's not even adding the 'Matt meets another of Stick's child soldiers' into the mix.
Basically, You'll be fine as long as you never ever think of any of that .

So I was reading the comments on the other page about the 2003 movie and I honestly forgot how bad the movie is.

Just give me Foggy and Matt talking to 2003!Matt about his life choices.

Civil war au: Nelson and Murdock over the years have represented a lot of the costumed community, and are privy to the secret identities of a number of public heroes who end up on the anti-registration side. The new laws brought in come into conflict with client confidentiality privileges, as they allow the pro-reg side to be able to bypass these and make it a legal requirement to disclose any information about costumed heroes for the public good. One day, Stark comes to their offices, demanding to see their files on major players on the anti-reg side (potentially even asking about Daredevil).

What do Matt, Karen and Foggy do?

I think they would make Stark get a court order, then destroy everything in the meantime. Then go to jail for destroying evidence or obstructing justice or whatever the formal charge would be. Maybe Matt escapes with the help of other supers?

Please. My firstborn for this.

Oh my LORD a Deadpool/Wolverine/Ghost Rider team up rescue of Foggy would be the COOLEST (and most terrifying, to the kidnappers) thing ever! You just wrapped up some of my absolute favourite characters in this prompt!
