I'm glad you liked that line, re: Matt overlooking Vanessa as the Devil. I basically jumped on the vague D/s vibes I picked up from Vanessa and Fisk and ran straight to hell with it, lol. I like the idea of PuppetMaster!Vanessa. >D

You know it’s almost a shame they can’t hear him screaming, but then they couldn’t do this in his own apartment, so I think that’s a fair trade as far as they’re concerned.

Oh they can hear him scream; it's just muffled enough that the elderly neighbour won't hear, lol. He's actually trying to say most of the italicized begging and it's just coming out as frightened babbling to them, heh heh.

now she’s taking photographic evidence to enjoy later and relive it again and again.

I was actually really stuck on whether she'd do this or not. They've been otherwise really careful about not leaving evidence behind to incriminate themselves with (they used condoms, they washed him after, they took his sheets and the escrima sticks and, you can assume, his entire vigilante outfit). It would be pretty incriminating to be caught with those pics, but Vanessa is such a sadist she couldn't help herself, lol.
