when they're in danger he raises so much hell like. wow. now the kids get why the underworld is so terrified of Daredevil, bc he prob like. punts a guy through a window (don't worry, he checked to make sure there was a dumpster underneath first, he'll live but not well) bc he dared try to hurt one of Matt's charges somehow

he also raises hell for the kids who don't have a home to go to or have a pretty bad home life, like he shows up at school when he even catches wind of any kind of trouble they're having with a teacher or a classmate or even the dress code and proceeds to verbally rip the offender a new one. Karen and Foggy come along, ostensibly to keep things from getting out of hand, but really to also pitch in on the ripping of new ones, bc these are their kids too

s!a and: imagine Matt, Foggy and Karen developing a Reputation among the teachers of one particular school, bc there was this one boy harassing one of their charges, and when one teacher was told all he said was something like "boys will be boys", and when Matt caught wind of that he proceeded to march down to the school and rip the teacher a new one and threaten the principal with a suit bc harassment is harassment

that Reputation spreads and probably even expands, like--business owner trying to cheat one of their charges out of their fair wages somehow? Karen and Matt show up at their business looking pissed. somebody discriminates against, say, Kamala or Robbie in a shop setting? Foggy, who happens to be accompanying them, snaps at the offender hard

do not mess with their kids or Nelson & Murdock (& Page) will fuck you up, is the lesson learned here.
