1st author anon here, since someone covered Matt's POV day 2, I'm thinking of maybe coming back and doing a Fisk POV for that week later for Reasons

I absolutely LOVE your take on this prompt! This hurt my heart, in the best way possible.

has anyone read Reborn? not Born Again I am not touching that with a ten-foot pole, fuck Miller, what I'm talking about is the miniseries that takes place right after Shadowland, which basically features sad, guilty, scruffy Matt trying to run the hell away from New York bc he feels too guilty to be in New York and to be Daredevil (like, literally, his self-loathing hits new levels there oh my sweet baby), but runs head-long into a town with Shady Things going on and cannot resist the urge to somehow do something about all of it.

so basically: give me the aftermath of MCU!Shadowland, or something close to it involving like, loss of bodily autonomy, possession and/or brainwashing. it can cleave closely to what happens in Reborn, but in truth, I really just want sad, guilty Matt wandering around America trying to stop being a hero but not being able to resist and helping out anyway, because he really can't not help. somehow.

bonus points for:
+ 10 for Foggy and Karen.
+ 100 for Foggy and Karen frantically looking for him and following the trail he's left behind
+ 1000 for hugging. Jesus fuck Murdock you need a fucking hug.

I love this so damn much. It's exactly what I was hoping for. My favourite thing is Foggy comforting and grounding Matt when he suffers from sensory overload (I can relate). It's just such an intimate, tender gesture, especially when you think of the implications of it - Foggy is finally aware of Matt's senses and Matt no longer has to hide. I'm so, so weak for that kinda thing.

AU where at some point Matt and Vladimir become an unlikely allies against Fisk. They're not friends, they don't even like each other, but they work together, they learn things, and start calling each other by names.
Oh hell, I just want Matt calling Ranshakov by name, and I mean not Vladimir, but Vova or Volodia.

So Matt, being the foodie that he is canonicly, becomes a food critic - the kind people dread to have review because he can taste if you washed your hands WTF?! - and he decides to review Foggy's butcher shop.

All Foggy can think when he shows is "Whoa hot like burning."

Man, this makes me want to write the first time Fisk makes Matt suck his dick. On one hand, Matt wouldn't have to deal with the pain of being barebacked dry. On the other hand, Fisk has a monster cock haha.

But I have also never written porn before (or much of anything, really). Hm.

(this just needs to be a round-robin series of Matt's unfortunate prison sexcapades hahaha)

The team are trying to profile Daredevil and meet Matt along the way. They become convinced he's a sociopath hiding serial killer tendencies. :D

Hey, someone online came up with a theory that "Mike" could be Mike Peterson from Agents of SHIELD. He has some pretty big secrets. Plus Matt did go to the same orphanage as Skye.

Matt can barely form the word around the animal panic that lances through him when he catches on, too late, to what Fisk is going to make him do.

It's his third night in Purgatory, and Matt had hoped to spare himself the embarrassment of panicking in front of this man and everyone within earshot again. So he'd been proud of himself for not flinching this time when Fisk had traced his meaty fingers along his jaw, and for simply going with it when Fisk's tongue licked inside his mouth.

Matt had just starting to lose himself in the kiss and the ambient sounds around him, mind wandering in self-preservation, when he was suddenly - but steadily - forced off the mattress (always Matt's!) and onto the cement floor, pressed to his knees between splayed legs.

And now Matt's face is uncomfortably close to Fisk's groin.

"N-no!" The smell is so overwhelming he gags. "Please--!"

So much for not making a fool of himself.

He tries to scramble away, but Fisk is gripping him by the hair.
