there is a power void in Hell's Kitchen after Fisk. Foggy starts a criminal organization a la Robin Hood without realizing it. Soon he is orchestrating human traffic shipments to free the victims and arrest/have buyers beaten. He can't tell Matt because seriously how is this his life? And are you kidding? His criminal name use the Advocate.

Then Matt learns and joins him (for good). The Devil of Hell's Kitchen and his Advocate.

Fuck their lives.

Okay, first of all, you DD writers are the fastest mofos on the planet. It would've taken me like three weeks to write something this long.

Secondly, this is freakin' amazing. It's so simple and much more mature than what I was anticipating. It's sad and sweet and not at all insulting in any shape or form. I love this, thank you for writing it.

(I know I didn't really include it in conversation, or things that are mentioned, but I feel like these are the biggest things that Matt's always going to be mourning quietly.)

Anon who said it 'wouldn't really work' here, just replying to everyone's replies. I apologize in advance if I come across as aggressive. I just want to make sure I cover everything.

First off, I never said it wouldn't work at all, or that the woman would without a doubt know that she was pregnant. Notice the word 'unless' in my first post. All I'm saying is that there would need to be a reason she doesn't know.

Yes, I'm perfectly aware that stress/excitement/whatever can temporarily postpone periods. But a woman would still notice unless the 'whatever' was so all-consuming that she didn't really stop to think about it. Because the 6 weeks isn't just a little longer than normal. It's twice as long as the longest estimate of the average days between periods. Notice I said 'longest of the average.' NOT 'longest of the possible.'

And yes, I am aware that not all women track their periods. I said that myself in my first post. But a woman still has a general idea when she should be expecting it. Even when I forget to track mine I still have a kind of 'sixth sense' about it, and when it gets close to time I'll be like 'I bet it's coming soon.'

I know not all women are like this. But some others also notice because their body undergoes certain changes. For example, breasts swell shortly before the period starts because of hormone changes. That is noticeable on it's own, but if a woman had harmless cysts in her breasts (and most women do) then they might feel discomfort when the breasts swell. There are also other physical ways to notice, but I'm not going to go into them. My post would get too long.

Again, I know not all women are the same, and I do know that there are many reasons a woman might not notice. I'm just providing information for reference. The OP and any potential writers can do with it what they will.

So, according to some of the comics Matt's mom ran off and became a nun.

I would like to see a fic where Matt, Foggy, Claire or Karen, end up at the church where Matt's mom is a nun.

Maybe Matt is hurt or it's a part of a case. But they end up there, and are completely BLOWN AWAY by how much Sister Margaret looks like Matt. And she keeps acting weird around him, instead of content with her life choices she's actually really guilty and seems to be having a hard time around him. And Matt takes Foggy aside and is all suspicious and Foggy doesn't know how to say "dude, you look just like her"

..so...go from there.

I have read so many fics about Matt and Foggy getting together in college. And that's great. But they never get to the Daredevil part.

Like, how would that confrontation go if Matt STILL never told Foggy about his senses and Foggy stumbled in on him in half dead on the floor?

And what are Foggy's feelings about Claire, beautiful burner phone girl who knows the secret?

It also gives a new perspective to Foggy sleeping with Marci right after.

I would like a hopeful ending. But generally a view of how that scene would have changed if Matt and Foggy had been in a relationship during the season.

Emotionally, YES 100% anon, I am DOWN FOR THIS FIC, but.

and i mean. I KNOW. i know. i have in fact written a "sex pollen" thing so I know that fic doesn't have to be constrained by technical details, but.

Matt spends most of Season 1 beat-to-shit with bruises and lacerations and stitches and scarring all over his body; I keep getting caught up on how does his long-term romantic partner not notice that?

talk to me bout this.

Oh shoot. I didn't even think of that. Yea, Foggy would have to miss a LOT to not notice that.

Unless Matt just stops wanting to do romantic things. Tries to slowly bring them back to friendship, and Foggy is used to Matt withdrawing occasionally and kind of tries to go through the motions.

Maybe Foggy is around for the first few fights, and Matt says he was jumped or brings it back to a case.

Or maybe Matt straight up breaks up with him, tells him this would be better as friendship.

Either way I still feel like there would still be a different feel to that scene. (Even though it was pretty intense already)

OT, but.

...are you the author of the sex pollen fill on p5 of the first post?

I ask because of reasons.

...and if Matt is withdrawing Foggy would maybe start to think that Matt is cheating.

Burner phone, late hours, hard to get in touch with, doesn't want to be intimate anymore, maybe they were even going to start looking for a place together before Matt stopped being interested.

So Foggy is thinking that Matt either has someone else or just doesn't love him anymore, and Matt being Matt is sticking around because he thinks he owes him.

So when he finds out about the Mask it just digs even deeper into all the insecurities he's already been having. And HAS OUR ENTIRE RELATIONSHIP BEEN BUILT ON A LIE?!

I like how you amde Foggy not being afraid at first sight, he is not the typoe, he will keep things to himself even if he is dying.
