Author!anon here. I had chickenpox as a kid too, although thankfully I don't remember much of that experience.

Would Matt suspend his no-hospitals rule for this? Well, in my mind, technically, no. Cause I had Foggy drag him to a clinic rather than a proper hospital. Because there's no way this would be left untreated with both Claire and Foggy knowing about it. So, yeah. (New question: Does Matt actually have health insurance?)

Hey anons who had chicken pox: there is a shingles vaccine now.

Also remember to get a booster every ten years. The vaccines for childhood diseases (mumps, measles - which just killed a woman in the US-, etc) wears off.

Matt's terrible training methods

Nooo this was such a cute prompt and then you broke my heart. Even if he was trying to be gentler than Stick, he still doesn't know what an appropriate training level/intensity is. Now I just see him practicing holds with one kid while the others watch. He thinks it's going well (can't hear any bones creaking) until the others start yelling for him to stop bc he's hurting their friend. When he lets go, the kid crawls away and the others either back up or prepare to defend against him. He realizes their heartbeats are going berserk out of fear

I just checked my vaccination booklet, and it looks I wasn't vaccinated for herpes zoster. I'm not sure what the vaccination scheme in Germany is, probably our health insurance only covers it for the elderly or at risk.

I have no idea what vaccines I have or haven't gotten... I moved too many times in the 90s. XD

Not usually into this stuff, the the complete and utter shame and mortification that would come from Jack finding them like that is just too wonderful.

oh my god. kamala's family is so overprotective, i can just imagine her brother trying and failing to cover for kamala staying with the hot blind lawyer and when her family finds out she's staying with a man they go BERSERK.

OP here THAT WAS AMAZING! Also all of the Matt/Foggy. Yes.

i imagine fog world would also mess with matt's senses since the snow muffles sound. could you imagine matt getting ambushed by monsters because he can't smell them (the fog is so thick he can only smell water vapor) and can't hear them (their steps would be muted by the snow)? he'd only be able to hear the noises they make with their mouths, and that'd probably be when it was too late.

Fisk is definitely Conquest

Matt sees himself as Pestilence- infecting everyone he touches

Karen sees herself as Death- Fruit withering on the vine as she approaches and such. Her (misplaced) guilt over Ben and Wesley still haunts her. She has nightmares of another attack in her dark apartment, a noose suddenly wrapping itself around her neck, of the reaper peering over her shoulder and picking out new victims from her friends

Imagine if he starts to record Matt's injuries, or 'Matt's daily lie count'

Imagine Foggy not even having a weapon. Either standing up to Punisher with his bare fists, or just flat out using his body to shield Matt. It's so pathetic and futile that it actually works

Matt groaned and thumped his head on the door-frame.

"Foggy, you didn't"

Wordless, Foggy nodded.

"He just nodded," Mike said. "Wow, this is as awkward as the time my Foggy and Karen found out.

"What?" Foggy said dumbly. "Matt, what is he talking about?"
Matt took a deep breath before gesturing to Mike.

"Foggy, I'd like you to meet myself, Matt Murdock, from an alternate universe."

Foggy stared at them, then turned and went to knock on Karen's bedroom door.

"Karen," he called. "Can I join your screamfest in there?"

Both Mike and Matt heard the door open, close then then two muffled screams emanate from the bedroom. In the heavy silence that followed after, they traded glances, each one looking somewhere over the other's ear.

"Well," Mike said finally. "That could have gone better."

Two hours and one very long explanation later, Foggy and Karen had calmed down enough to break out the vodka Foggy brought.

"Go home," Karen said to Matt. "And take him with you."

She gestured to Mike, who looked like he had expected this.

"Foggy and I," she continued, taking Foggy's arm and opening the bottle. "Are going to take a couple days off. Do not come after us. "

Foggy took the bottle from her hands, took a long swallow and nodded.

"Okay," Matt said meekly.

"Great," Karen said, a little too brightly. "Now get out."

"Oh and Matt," Foggy called as they were halfway out the door. "We're not leaving you forever, okay buddy? Just for a few days."

Matt swallowed hard and made very sure to keep his voice steady when he answered Foggy.

"I know"

Next to him, Mike squeezed his elbow and guided him out the door. The mask lay on the back of the dining chair, forgotten.

And that is it for this fic. I hope you've all enjoyed and I'm sorry that it didn't turn into what you and I wanted, but it just ran completely away from me.

And what do they do once they form their suspicion? Confront Matt and offer help? Or do they set a trap for Daredevil? Want to capture him and beat him half to death for hurting Matt? Only to discover ...

Vanessa gets turned on by witnessing Fisk's strength and brutality. She tells him she wants to see him rape the Devil of hell's Kitchen & he arranges it for her.

Vanessa orchestrates the whole thing and gives instructions throughout, telling Wilson how to position Matt, where to touch him, how hard and fast to go, and when Matt gets an erection, she joins in too.
