I would love to see something about this, whether it's gen backstory about him having trouble getting words out as a kid (and possibly bullied) or him just becoming completely incoherent during sex is up to you.

Matt and Forced Addiction

So Madame Gao runs a Heroin trade right, and she clearly has a lot of reasons to want to hurt our favorite vigilante. So say someday/somehow she decides to kidnap Daredevil (whether she knows his identity of not, up to anon) and as part of his torture in captivity she gets him addicted to heroin (or another drug of choice).

Since he has heightened senses, addiction (and later withdrawal) is undoubtedly a million times worse for Matt.

Would love Matt trying to hide his addiction at first out of embarrassment and and I-have-this-under-control mentality. Also, Foggy being a real best friend and noticing something is up and forcing him to detox and start recovering would be amazing.

As best friends (who are maybe secretly a little gay for each other), Matt and Foggy may have engaged in a little playful rough-housing in the past. Like a pair of smitten puppies.

Just think - playful shoves, arm grabs, getting pinned, legs tangling together, rolling on the floor…


+1 if it didn't happen very often but there was a lot of guilty enjoyment when it did.

+10 if at one point Matt, either pre- or post-reveal, lets a flash of the ninja skills out, ending with Foggy flipped on his back and Matt hovering over him, smirking.

+100 if post-reveal after they start to get grabby with each other again, Foggy has a ‘hey, wait a minute’ moment where he accuses Matt of letting him win. (Possibly the truth is Matt just liked Foggy pinning him down.)

Matt/Frank/Elektra, undercover at a sex club, sub!Frank

So both Daredevil and the Punisher are going after some criminal. Matt knows if Frank gets to the guy first he's gonna kill him, so when he hears that Frank's found a lead on the guy, who's only showing his face anywhere in a high-class BDSM sex club with a hyper-formalized dom/sub thing, he knows he ALSO has to infiltrate it.

So he ends up working with Frank (and, possibly, Elektra) to infiltrate the club, either with Frank as Matt and Elektra's sub or Frank and Matt as Elektra's subs, or either of Frank or Matt as the sub.

Bonuses:

-a scene where someone tries to touch whoever's pretending to be sub, they growl/snarl/look murderous, and whoever's pretending to be the dom has to gently squeeze the scruff of their neck/tug on their leash/pull their hair back a bit *and* deal with the overstepping asshole

-they end up actually having sex/being fingered/giving head in order to ensure that nobody questions their cover

-whoever's the sub being led around in tight black t-shirt, with, possibly, jeans with the holes for easy access cut out + a pretty plug in

Through plot reasons, Maria Castle and kids are fully restored to life, for real, it's really them, and they're guaranteed to not die before old age.

However, for the past 6 months or so, Frank and Matt have had a serious relationship. And as happy as Matt is for Frank, he's also sad because of COURSE now Frank's going to leave him, why would he pick the substitute over the real thing?

Cue Maria Castle one day walking to Nelson and Murdock for legal help because hey, she was dead for years, she needs to get her kids into a public high school and get some of her goddamn money back, and also Matt Murdock you kept my husband loved, you're invited to my house for dinner.

Matt/Foggy - actual demon/devil!Matt Murdock demon-marks Foggy

A few generations ago, maybe back in Europe, maybe after they came over, one of Matt's ancestors promised the males of the line to some supernatural creature (Irish fae, christian devil, Supernatural style crossroads demon, native american spirit? take your pick)
The men receive the power they need to defend their family in a way that's best suited to them (e.g. a boxer gets extra stamina and strength, a more scholarly type gets extra compelling)
but there's always something bad mixed in, because the creature wants to see some mayhem. Anger issues, narcissim.
Usually the demon comes to them in their teens, but when Matt goes blind they come early and give Matt his supernatural senses. To go with it he gets possessive/territorrial.

However, since JAck wasn't alive to teach him, Matt mostly fumbles his way through the whole possibly a demon thing.

When he meets Foggy, Matt can't help but put a supernatural mark on him that keep some demons away, but also makes the weirdest people take an interest in him. After all it isn't every day that a Murdock actually makes a claim like that.

+ Stick is actually the demon/some agent sent to help Matt harness his power
++ Obviously there are also other supernatural beings afoot, and the Daredevil becomes something of a go to guy for those. Matt Murdock is also the lawyer to go to with those unusual issues (i.e. ghost infestations).
+++ the mark has unexpected side effects (dealer's choice)

Prompt: so as an obnoxious catholic myself, i would LOVE to see matt & frank, in the wake of the mess they've made of both of their lives, bonding over both their messy lives and their faith.

they go to mass together. matt makes frank give up guns for lent. frank, unlike matt, appreciates father lantom's latte machine and they both spend an inordinate amount of time skulking in cemeteries, comparing catholic school horror stories and bitching about all of the changes the new pope's making to mass.

by the time matt pulls his head out of his ass and tentatively mends his bridges with foggy and karen, they're both surprised to find frank hanging around at matt's place. surprised and, once foggy realizes that there's another catholic vigilante out there, horrified.

Prompt: Frank becomes the only person Matt hasn't pushed away/doesn't think he's endangering just by being near him, so after his firm folds and realizes that there's no way for him to afford his apartment rent, he just lets it go and completely cuts himself off from normal society. One thing leads to another and he ends up moving in with Frank to avoid being homeless and having to sleep in his Daredevil gear.

It turns out being strangely good for him because unlike Foggy or Claire or Karen, Frank can actually get Matt to stop and rest and eat and take semi-proper care of himself when he needs it, since taking care of himself is the only way he can talk Frank into doing the same whenever he gets hurt, and it ends up being a cycle of them finding ways to cope that rely entirely on one another until they can't really function apart.

Prompt: Since the second season premiered, I've learned that Frank sometimes calls Matt "choirboy" in the comics.

I'd love to read a fic where Matt really was one. Maybe Father Lantom asks him for a favor in those dreary days after the death of Elektra. His usual cantor called in sick and he can't find anyone to sing at Midnight Mass. Could Matt do it?

Matt goes through trials to save someone Heavy Rain style

So if anyone's ever played Heavy Rain, one of the characters' son gets kidnapped. In order to save him, he has to go through a series of trials (drive against traffic, crawl over broken glass etc.) in order to get clues on the location of his son and save him before he drowns to death.

So basically Matt or Daredevil has to go through a similar thing to save a kidnapped someone (Foggy, Karen, Random innocent little civilian girl?).

Ever since he started shacking up with blind lawyer Matt Murdock, Frank has slowly begun to let go of his rage and burning need for revenge bit by bit. He doesn't regret the things he's done or the people he's killed as he still truly believes they deserved it, and he's never once hurt anyone that hadn't had it coming. But he's in love with Matt, likes the way he feels when they're together, and he wants to be better for him.

Everything is wonderful until Wilson Fisk comes seeking retribution against the lawyer who put him in prison and rapes Matt in front of Frank, who is chained up like an animal and forced to watch.

Up to you whether or not Matt is Daredevil in this. Bonus points for Frank reverting to his old self after it's all done and vowing to wipe out Fisk and everyone Fisk loves.
