I could live happily without seeing that furniture-breaking sex scene between Claire and Luke.

LOL yeah, it was more funny than hot. I just giggled my way through it and rme a lot. Probably not the reaction the writers wanted.

Something about the scene just ticks me off. I mean, on the surface it all works out: they got together after however many months of prison, so they're horny and not wasting any time, and Luke being the rather ridiculous thing that he is, furniture breaking is kind of to be expected. But for some reason, it just didn't work on the screen. The whole scene was just trivial and stupid to me, and maybe a little gross.

I think you are reading way too much into it.. I saw it was spurt of the moment thing. It worked better on JJ that's true, here in the Defenders was more of a comedy relief than a sexy moment cause i laughed like crazy when the furniture broke

The tone of the scene in JJ was completely different. It added to both characterization and the plot, and it was pretty dark.

And like I said - all the logic technically works out.
