Yeah I am quite pleased by Foggy sort of coming around and now Karen being the problem. And as much as I totally get Foggy's (valid) frustrations last season with Matt, it is nice to see Matt stand up for himself and basically realize and say "There isn't Matt Murdock and then Daredevil, there's just me."

That's the impact of hanging with other people whose heroism is who they are and who say "love it or leave it, but it's not about you or me and is about the right thing".

I agree completely. Matt's choices started when he was 9 and rescued an old man in the street and lost his eyesight in the process. With or without the suit, with or without his powers, he's not going to stop. His terrible life has already tried to beat the heroics out of him and failed. He can't stop. It's who he is and he's going to try to help where he can, when he can, until he can't, whatever the consequences. Not all of his choices are good choices, he makes mistakes and he's fallible, but he needs friends who can accept and support him, every part of him.
