That was an incredible scene. Easily one of my favourites.

I think it was all genuine on Matt's part. He was scared before they even started talking, and from there it just all kept getting worse for him.

Fisk really, really grew into himself as Kingpin(!!!) and he 100% became the evil mastermind villain he was learning to be in S1. It was an impressive piece of character development. Which is funny, because he wasn't even the focus this season! Anyway, I was pleased they followed through on his Good Samaritan speech last season. I wasn't completely sold on how much of a threat he was supposed to be in S1, but now I can definitely see it happening. He is the arch-nemesis for Daredevil now.

THIS. RN all I want is for Fisk to go after Matt (not DD) with everything he has and get to the point of finally killing him and then surprise, PUNISHER. I really want that to be Frank's redemption line, that he might be a mass murderer of bad guys but he keeps showing up long enough to rescue his Red when he really needs it. Because Frank knows DD is Matt Murdock now, and the warning was laid out, the next time Fisk and Frank meet, somebody's going to die.

Is it confirmed that Frank definitely knows Matt is Daredevil? I missed that. (That's fabulous if true, though!)

Not officially confirmed, but he saw Matt fighting without a mask in the final battle. Even from as far away as he was, he was using a sniper scope so it'd be really surprising if he hadn't seen Matt's face. So if he hadn't figured it out by then, I imagine he'd know after that. However, we didn't hear him say anything like "Matt Murdock is Daredevil", so I'll happily be reading fics where he does or doesn't know and enjoying both scenarios. ;)

haha... Oh yeah, I forgot about that. I guess I was too busy having anxiety about my precious Matt fighing for his life... totally missed the fact that yeah, Frank probably saw him.

Honestly, I thought he'd have recognized his voice in the court room. I guess it's probably more of a leap to think he doesn't know who Daredevil is by this point.

Frank Castle in the comics is all about recon, he keeps a 'war journal' notebook which is basically a daily diary, he's all about tactics and knowing his enemy, he stockpiles information about people. He knew about the devil of hk before he even arrived; he asked DD about it. Remember he kidnapped DD and carried him away to some other roof, chained him up, and then sat arguing with him for half a night. Frank can remember the smallest details on people, there's absolutely no way he doesn't see Matt in a suit and not recognise that mouth and jawline, the ticks, even the stubble pattern.

And of course Matt walks into Frank's hospital room and speaks to Frank and you see Frank's face? He says, 'I know who you are...' lololol There's a little redirection there but yeah, Frank knows.
