ETA: we now have a discussion post! for anything you want to talk about.
ETA2: we have a
delicious account! it's only got the first ten pages of prompts at the moment, but mod is very slowly adding the rest. mod would greatly appreciate it if you put keywords in the subject of your prompts, because figuring out one-word summaries is hard. (for anyone who doesn't have a delicious account/hates the page style, use this link)

Re: Foggy's secret family drama & Rosalind Sharpe

op:
It's literally the WORST thing. I swear to god. I find it so interesting how Foggy's speech patterns change around her too. He's a lot more hesitant, with umming and such. It's like the complete opposite of the relatively confident guy we all know.

It's messed the hell up because the one time he stands up to rosalind she literally clamps her hand over his mouth and is like 'well well, you've finally stood up to me.' And then she proceeds to ignore his wishes anyway.

I'm just imagining her swanning in to 'nelson and murdock' and casually tearing away at everything Foggy's so proud of. And then Matt comes in and she's like "Oh yes, I've been following your career. Graduating summa cum laude, very impressive" .
She seems like the kind of character where that would be her whole thing, tearing away at her son's confidence and self-esteem before stepping in to ask him to do something for her (feeding off his need to prove himself to her)

The comics were hella vague about how much time Foggy had actually spent with her too, like beyond 'ive known her my whole life'. Idk which situation i like better, awkward holidays where she proceeds to tear away his self-esteem or ignore him in equal measures, or just complete isolation apart from an annual card her secretary writes for her.

I'm sorry I can't stop talking about this I'm just so completely into Foggy's messed up family drama. Don't even get me started on the 'loud conversations' where people get mad at rosalind while Foggy half-heartedly defends her.

This sounds...like exactly the kind of emotional drama I love getting invested in.
