Matt’s still a lawyer. (up to anon if daredeviling or not)
Claire's life is hell busy inbetween being an nurse in-training, a volunteer at a community center, and some part-time work at the new coffee shop that happens to be right next to the nelson & murdock practice. Matt, Foggy and Karen start hanging out there, but at times Matt goes alone and realize someone is flirting with him cause they write silly messages in braille on his cup.
And that’s claire, but only on tuesday/friday mornings and sunday afternoons.

I'm considering it and thinking about Matt tutoring other students or studying with Foggy in that coffee shop, and in the meanwhile he gets the messages but keeps quiet, just a faint smile for a brief moment on his face, hiding immediatly the message in his hand or under his books.
but foggy notices and Karen too realize there's something, and I hope it's karen the first one to understand that's claire the one who sends them.
then when they finally get to know each other, he doesn't want to bring her to his room but eventually it happens and when she looks around she finds a particular jar full of the messages she sent with the cups. (like, maybe she wrote them on napkins idek, i didn't research on how to write braille without "machines", idk if it's even possible lol)

maybe she pushed a pen into the edge of the lids - those plastic lids could hold an impression pretty well, I'd think?

If that'd be possible it'd be nice! And maybe it would be even more if matt would get cuts on his fingertips from the lids (because otherwise they don't fit into the jar so he cuts out the part where there's nothing written) and claire gets to put on him one of her emergency bandaid, the ones with ducks and flowers and colored dots made for kids, and once done,she observes him and his fingers and bursts out laughing and matt doesn't really get it but opens up in a warm smile, omg is this still a coffeeshop au?! Idek
