Matt/Foggy Neurological damage

Matt gets beat to within an inch of his life, and winds up with severe head trauma and neurological damage. He stutters and gets angry because his words won't come out right, his hands shake so badly at times that he can't even take a drink of water without spilling it on himself. Foggy's there with him every step of the way because no matter what, he'll never leave Matt's side.

Up to the author whether or not the damage is permanent, but oceans of angst and comfort would be nice.

Hmmm...I'm actually around halfway through a fic that takes place a few months post Matt getting a severe TBI, and there are language issues and motor control issues, and the damage is permanent, and he does have problems controlling his anger along with a slew of other things...however, the story is Matt & Foggy (and Karen) and not Matt/Foggy, I'm not sure if the TBI is more severe than you were thinking (major cognitive issues, motor issues, memory issues, problems controlling emotions and aggression, anomic aphasia and other speech issues) and it's honestly not even as angsty as it sounds. Would you be interested in me posting this as a sort-of-fill when I'm finished?

Oooooh, wow. I hope you're going to post that to ao3 too because yes please, that is something i'd love to read.
