Matt is totally the kind of guy to go to meetings and try to get parks in his neighborhood! and when he gets frustrated with bureaucracy and turns to working outside the proper channels to get things done, Foggy is absolutely the one who gets mad, because there's a system in place, Matt, what would happen if we all went around - idk, planting trees - planting trees willy-nilly, huh?

(aww, jerry. the show needed to slow their ROLL when it came to jerry, yikes, that was the only time it ever felt straight up mean.)

Ohmygod matt the masked gardner or something. And then Foggy complains about him to matt and karen one day and he's like 'this man is the devil..' 'foggy he's planting trees' 'THE DEVIL I SAY'
karen is so on board with this rouge gardening tho.

(Jerry can't catch a damn break, i wish they'd just get rid of the character if they're going to continue the joke because it got old so so quickly)

Masked Gardner vs. the Raccoons

The park security footage gets leaked and it goes viral. He's hailed as a hero for standing up to the beasts.

"Hero or raccoon punching monster? Tonight. A special report about about the latest exploits of the cities masked vigilante. And, has he been hired by the Parks department to do their dirty work for them? The answer is more surprising than you might think."

"We interview Foggy Nelson, here to tell us about the parks wildlife rehabilitation program."

"We wanted to interview the masked gardener, but he just left six raccoons in a cage outside the studio doors and to be totally honest everyone who works at this studio is afraid to move them because they keep hissing at us and our insurance is not the best. Viewers, please advise."

(by which i mean: I AM CRYING LAUGHING HELP.)

we interviewed Foggy Nelson is like "we attempted to interview the head of the department, Karen Paige, but she was interrupted every time by Mr. Nelson. Eventually Ms. Paige just let him take over" (Foggy is just attempting to bypass the inevitable incident when Karen publicly supports the Masked Gardener)

The next day Matt carefully slides up to his colleague Claire and is like 'hey so just super casually can u help me get a rabies shot???"

I swear every addition that is made to this just fucking lights up my life im laughing so much

Foggy gets suspicious because for like WEEKS after Matt glares at every raccoon like they've caused personal offence

also; "ugh I swear we've poured so much energy into this thing, they should totally name the park after us. Murdock & Nelson Park how does that sound?" "I like Nelson and Murdock" "hmm we need to shorten it.. Neldock park? Murson? God that sounds like a ship name or something"

DAMN IT. I'm the person who went with the Ron!Karen and everything and I'm totally going to write this even thought I'm working on like FIVE OTHER FICS nbd. Something will be up soon. Chapters will probably be short, but whatever, this has to happen. I can't resist these long giant prompts.
