idk, op, how do you see this universe playing out? is matt still running around at night leaping on muggers like a really angry flying squirrel, or is he too busy playing bond girl in fisk's organization? i am torn, i need focus to bring it all together here?

just!! vanessa bringing matt's hand to her mouth to let him know she's smiling!!! WILSON FISK BLUSHING!!! matt, being all confused and conflicted and terrified and v much into it. i love everything about this.

honestly i think matt playing bond girl would work better due to the fact that if matt was still going round beating people up fisk would probably expect his interrogations to end with, you know, murder. bc fisk works like that, but matt very much doesn't, even in this universe. (and i'd like to think fisk would respect that??)(also i like the idea of bond girl matt murdock)

but i'm just imagining matt playing lawyer for him, covering shit up, but gathering information for ben's story so that when he blows everything open, he blows everything open and with reliable sources. (also, just imagine how much more personal that betrayal would be for fisk, who is so private and trusts very few people. imagine how guilty and uncomfortable matt would be; maybe fisk confides in matt about his father's death like he did with vanessa, bc he trusts him just that much). maybe he sends matt to talk to people, to gain contacts and discourage people who are opposing him, bc matt is soft-spoken and eloquent and everyone trusts (and underestimates) the blind guy. (though i think wesley might begin to feel a little threatened if that happened too often). maybe he sends him to get information, bc he's pretty good at that, and matt comes back with disinformation?? (and bruises, bc matt might be good at lawyering and getting info, but he's bad at self preservation).

but idk, whatever works best for you. you've done a snippet and i'm already hooked. your writing is so so gorgeous though; it's actually breathtaking, i'm a bit in love tbh.

argh, i love the universe that you've sketched out here. like, i can see the shape of it, if it makes sense? it's really fun to play around in, I'm having a blast!

...oh god, I don't even know what to say? i love writing "overwhelmed matt murdock's pov," though, because he's such a detail-oriented, tactile character, it's an excuse for me to go over the top in the best way. :D
