1) The first time Matt smiles at Foggy, Foggy can already hear his heartbreaking. He's such a sucker for good looking people with nice smiles. And Matt is so very good looking. The absolute tragedy is that Matt will never know.

2) Matt's mouth is bloody from when he fell taking out the trash. The red is garish against the white of his teeth but Foggy can't stop looking at it, can't stop wanting to press against That angry looking mark. He pounds back his drink and mourns his lack of courage.

3) the way the glass pushes against Matt's lips, the curve of his smile, the sound of his laugh, the way Foggy's own name sounds, the bite of Matt's teeth when he feels self conscious

4) They just graduated summa cum laude and cum laude and now they are celebrating with many libations. Tomorrow they'll be hungover but tonight they are kings of the world and nothing can stop them, these avocados. Foggy leans against the wall outside their apartment trying to find the key to the door. Matt laughs at his fumbling saying, "A blind man could find it faster than you," and by luck they happen to have a blind man right here. He plucks the correct key out of Foggy's hand and unlocks the door to the sound of Foggy grumbling about lucky guesses.

They stumble in and collapse on Matt's bed in a tangle of limbs and curses.

"Mattmattmatt what-what do I like look wait-no what do I look like to you? Like your uhhhhh impression or whatever of me."

Matt looks over at him, "I'm blind, Foggy. Can't look at you."

Foggy sits straight up, "Whoa! You never told me you were blind!" Then he falls back onto the bed with a laugh.

"I dunno, Foggy, it's not like a look. It's how you smell, and how much space you take up, and how your walk sounds, it's not easy to explain. I can kind of get an idea by touching people's faces and shit but that's not something I can just ask people. Ya know?"

He falls silent and listens to the apartments various sounds.

"You could touch my face....if you want."

It's wierd when he does, like butterflies ghosting over Foggy's face. It's even wierder when Matt kisses him, like whoa. Just softly, like a secret.

Tomorrow they don't talk about it, while they nurse their hangovers.

5) Fisk is in jail but things still aren't quite right between Foggy and Matt. They're slowly regaining equilibrium, Foggy smooths the transition with subtle jabs at Daredevil. It feels almost like before.

Almost.

Matt grabs a six pack of Foggy favorite IPA and ambushes him in the office after hours.

It feels almost normal, and then Foggy is yelling about how worried his been and Matt's trying not to cry because if he loses Foggy he loses everything.

Foggy's got him pressed again the desk and he's jabbing Matt in the chest with his finger, but avoiding the worst of his injuries and then they're kissing and grabbing and Foggy's got his knee between Matt's leg and Matt is arching up into him and making these sounds that go right through Foggy.

Later, when they can talk, when they stop gasping, Matt apologizes for lying and Foggy kisses him, and it feels like penance and forgiveness.

Yesss omg this is the best kind of mouth porn. Foggy's sense of humor and face-touching being weird and fights that turn into make-outs - hnnng, so good.
