RPF is allowed. Crossovers, characters from the extended Marvel Universe and comics canon are allowed, but must relate to the 2015 TV show in some way.

Discussion not related to the prompt should be moved to the discussion/off-topic post.

OOOOOOH. I want this!

Oh man. But would Foggy think it was consensual at first and then be like "Dude! Stealing my boyfriend is like, so uncool. I thought we were supposed to be wingmen!" and then Matt is like "I'm so sorry, Foggy, I didn't mean to..." and the boyfriend is like "He was begging for it, how was I supposed to resist that?" And then Matt's not even sure if maybe it really IS his fault, after all...

honestly I'm so down for any variation of this one (um. for a given value of a happy ending, that is?).

The one where Foggy walks in on this guy on top of Matt and yells "what the fuck", and Matt is horrified and embarrassed and frantically apologetic... only to realize that Foggy isn't yelling at him, he's bodily throwing his boyfriend out of the apartment and asking if Matt's all right, and Matt is just... ????? Aren't you mad at me? At which point Foggy is like, nooooo I'm so sorry, please can I hug you until you feel better, this is not your fault, obviously I'm on your side here, there are no sides, there's creepy rapey dude and you, my hurt best friend, that's not really a contest.

(because Matt totally would think it was his fault? I mean, he's Daredevil, obviously he could've just made this guy stop if he ~really~ wanted him to...)

AND the version where Foggy walks in on them and totally thinks Matt is/has been hooking up with his boyfriend behind his back and is INCREDIBLY PISSED, until at some point Matt says something that sets off a major red flag ("I'm sorry, I know, I tried to get him off of me..."), or the boyfriend says something like "yeah he's totally been asking for it" and Foggy is like, wait, no. And then... is also upset and sorry and wants to hug Matt until he feels better, actually.

What about the variation where Matt is trying to keep the guy off him when he hears Foggy's frantic heartbeat outside the door.
Thank god, Other Guy will stop and he can apologize in the morning and- and- and-

And Foggy turns and leaves, unnoticed by Other Guy. Other Guy uses Matt's distraction to pin his arms, get an arm across his throat. It's quick, barely even makes the bed shake. Other Guy is already doing up his pants and telling him he was great before Foggy has even left the dorms.

When foggy stumbles back in, drunk and angry, Matt is sitting in the remains of the trashed room. When foggy calls him a homewrecker, he laughs even as the tears slick down his face

...yes. also this one. Absolutely.

And where Matt doesn't actually say anything at all when Foggy's yelling at him, just sits there and takes his licks. And if this is present day Foggy cold-shoulders him for days - best friend sleeping with your boyfriend, that's grounds for a divorce right there - and Foggy is too mad to see Matt ghosting away (Matt is trying to keep it together, there's a voice in his head that sounds like Stick's telling him to stop being such a pussy, this is nothing, but...)

But maybe someone else does. Karen? She asks what happened and when Matt admits Foggy caught him with his boyfriend is horrified, and is more horrified as she figures out it wasn't consensual. (But what difference does it make, Matt says, I still screwed up...) Or Claire asks where Matt got a new bruise and he casually says "Foggy's boyfriend", and this is the kind of thing Daredevil stops, sure, but Daredevil stops that from happening to good people, and Matt? Well, Matt is different. He didn't try hard enough, he could've fought him off and since he didn't, maybe he really did want it, Matt has always known there was something wrong with him that means maybe he deserves this, brought this on himself... and Foggy's the best person he knows, if he isn't on his side... And someone else gives Foggy a clue, eventually.

Or if it's college, maybe it's not until Foggy's drinking his sorrows in a bar that he overhears a familiar voice talking about his best lays and "Murdock? Sure, you just gotta make him realize how much he wants it..." And after he decks his ex realizes: oh, shit.

I'm all for Claire storming the Nelson&Murdock office to rain wrath on Foggy, because WHAT THE HELL, FOGGY, I'VE MET YOU ONCE AND YOU SEEMED DECENT, BUT THIS IS JUST SICK.

yessssssssss I am so down for Claire being protective of Matt (up to and including Claire going on some sort of Kill Bill roaring rampage of revenge after all these hurt!Matt prompts, because even if he doesn't think he's worth defending, goddammit, she is going to, and she is ready to stab someone in the face to do it, but I DIGRESS). Claire realizing halfway through telling him off that Foggy legitimately had no idea it wasn't consensual, and he looks absolutely devastated, and she... is still pissed, actually. He walked out in the middle of his friend's assault and then yelled at him about it, Matt might not blame him at all, but she does not forgive and forget so easily. Also Claire/Matt h/c? I am so here for it.

I am also here for Claire the Vengeful friend protector

Foggy feels bad, Matt feels bad; neither of them will want to talk about it bc what the fuck do you even say in that scenario (hallmark doesn't make 'sorry I missed the chance to stop my boyfriend raping you, then yelled at you like it was your fault' cards)

The reconciliation would be long and painful and awkward but damn do I want to see it
