  6. If it wasn't written specifically for the prompt, it doesn't count as a fill. You are welcome to provide a link to already existing fic that does fit the prompt, in case the prompter hasn't seen it, but it doesn't count as a fill.

How about Matt hovering his fingers just a hairsbreadth from Rogue's face, getting almost as much out of it as if they were touching, and Rogue feeling even worse than she always does because they can never do this thing that's kind of important to Matt, and then Matt sits back and describes her face in breathtaking and slightly embarrassing detail? Just to demonstrate that no, this isn't something they've missed, he knows where her facial freckles are now and it's great.

Or through gloves, do you mean? Like, Matt's sensitivity would make it possible? Enquiring OP wants to know.

not sure if this helps, but he's sensitive enough that he can feel cracks in armor and weaknesses in bars of steel through his gloves in the comics. that being said, I the show he takes his glove off to run fingers over plans, so. probably not as sensitive, but still pretty goddamn sensitive if he can pick things up even through print.

Hmm. Maybe it could be in stages? Like, they're working up to doing a hoverhand examination but they start with gloves? Thanks for this information. :)

I wasn't really sure on the details, it just occurred to me there would be a lot of angst potential there.

But omg, I love that idea of him still being able to feel her without quite touching her. Though gloves might work too? This all sounds great.

Imagine Rogue trying to stay so still and trembling when Matt gets near her eyelid but he compensates for it and she's just like 'shitshitshit' and he asks her to calm down please, her heartbeat is getting distracting. But he's smiling as he says it and Rogue sort of wants to burst into song because of how unexpectedly okay everything is.

Thank you for suggesting Rogue. This is a rich vein of fluff and angst I had not considered before.

Aw, my heart just melted. Never expected to ship Rogue/Matt Murdock, but it looks like I am now.
