i'm just imagining some sort of weird troll!AU thing like

somesort of fusion/crossover thing that takes place after feferi's become empress and it's been a couple hundred sweeps or something

and freelance legislacerators foggy and matt trying to get highblood!fisk on trial but UNFORTUNATELY he's a highblood and basically exempt from what little laws do exist

(sidenote: beautiful, terrifying seadweller vanessa y/y?)

so vigilante matt (on a planet where vigilante justice is TOTALLY LEGAL AND ENCOURAGED) is Doing His Best and idk wanders out into the forest or some shit, probably yelling and throwing things tbh

and terezi like. backflips out of a tree or some shit, this elderly blind badass a la Toph in LoK, "WHAT'S UP BUTTERCUP?" and matt definitely does not scream a little and they talk about JUST1C3 and their lives and being blind on Alternia

(and the Horrible Terrible No Good Very Bad hatecrush that matt definitely does not have no siree)

buT ALSO WHAT ABOUT THIS:
The game is over. For some reason, the remaining kids and trolls-disguised-as-humans set up base in Hell's Kitchen. They're doing good, trying to lead normal lives. Rose is working towards her doctorate in psychology, Dave is a freelancing DJ who manages their stocks, Karkat is, lile, a relationship counsellor or something, idk, and so on so forth. And then there's Terezi Pyrope, blind lawyer prodigy, who graduated from Columbia with like the highest grades of the class at the young age of 20. She applied for an internship at Nelson and Murdock. At first, they don't want to hire her, because of money, but she assures them that the only reward she needs is the sweet smell of JUST1C3. In those exact words. She gets hired, and, a few days later, she's attacked in an alleyway. Daredevil is about to intervene, when she effortlessly takes down her assailant. She, of course smells DD a mile away. ("W3LL H3LLO TH3R3, MR. R3D L1COR1C3. WH4TS 4 N1C3 L4WY3R L1K3 YOU DO1NG H3R3?")

It's the start of a beautiful friendship.

i LIKE but i also feel like terezi wouldn't want to be a defense attorney? she rps the prosecution and talks about how "defense is a dirty word"

maybe they meet in court for...some reason?

ALSO could be fun to pit their differing concepts of what justice is against each other! Matt's very NO KILLING KILLING IS BAD while terezi i think errs more on the side that, while not preferable, it's definitely an option. as much as it fucked her up, she did kill vriska for the sake of justice (in the original timeline at least...)

Don't try to think of Homestick timelines. Just don't. But anyway, yeah, your point about Terezi is true. While I do agree she would be a prosecutor, she'll probably not hate Matt as much as the other lawyers because he defends the innocent. It would really be interesting to see how their morals collide, especially when you take into account that Terezi's willingness to kill if nessecary is a product of circumstance, and she only resorts to killing if she believes it absolutely nessecary, as opposed to, say, the punisher, who automatically resorts to killing. I feel like Terezi would respect Matt, though she's be a bit confused as to why he wentvoutbof his way to avoid killing people.
