Every Move You Make - Matt/Foggy

I've seen a lot of pining!Foggy fics, but how easy would it be for Matt to creep on Foggy from a distance? Maybe they ended up a year apart at school, maybe they still both intern at L & Z, maybe they live in the same apartment building, but I want to see a fic where Matt and Foggy don't really know each other, but Matt has a huge crush.

Filling his consciousness with Foggy is probably one of the soft indulgent things he feels awful and guilty for, but sometimes when he's having a rough day, he lets himself listen for the sound of Foggy singing to himself, participating in debates, hanging out with friends. It started as an accident, but now Matt relies on Foggy in his life, and Foggy has no idea. How do they eventually meet - has Foggy noticed him too?

(sorry, phil collins came on the radio this morning and it got me thinking. i really enjoy fics where Matt's senses make him a total creeper and Foggy has the aplomb to roll with it.)

Ooh, but what if one of the times that Matt is indulging himself by listening to Foggy from afar, he hears Foggy get into some sort of trouble and IMMEDIATELY drops everything he's doing to go save him? And that's how they meet for real.

oh no, just imagine he rescues Foggy and brings him back to his apartment and Foggy's like "thanks but... how do you know where my apartment is? and which blanket I snuggle in when I'm feeling lousy? and how I take my coffee?" and then immediately has to keep Matt from just fleeing down the fire escape like the sad little ball of hopeful shame that he is.
