Rules:
  • General
    1. YKINMKATO. Play nice. If you don't like something, scroll on.

    2. All comments must be anon. If you would like to be politely banned to avoid anon-failing, leave a logged-in comment on the mod post or pm the mod account.

    3. Subject lines should only be changed if you're posting a prompt or a fill (indicators like OP or Author!Anon should go in the body of the comment).

    4. RPF is allowed. Crossovers, characters from the extended Marvel Universe and comics canon are allowed, but must relate to the 2015 TV show in some way.

    5. Discussion not related to the prompt should be moved to the discussion/off-topic post.

    6. Drop a comment on the mod post if you have any questions or problems.

  • Prompts
    1. All types of prompts are welcome.

    2. Use the subject line for the main idea of your prompt (pairing or characters, keywords, kink).

    3. Warnings are nice, but not mandatory. Get DW Blocker if there's anything you really don't want to see.

    4. Reposted prompts are allowed once one round has passed - i.e., prompts from post #2 cannot be reposted until post #4. Please include a link to where it has been previously posted.

  • Fills
    1. Put [FILL] or something similar in the subject line when posting a fill.

    2. Announce your fill on either the Completed Fills Post or the WIP Post.

    3. Long fills can either be posted over multiple comments, or posted on AO3 and linked back here.

    4. Multiple fills are always okay.

    5. Fills can be anything! Fic, art, vids are all welcome.

    6. If it wasn't written specifically for the prompt, it doesn't count as a fill. You are welcome to provide a link to already existing fic that does fit the prompt, in case the prompter hasn't seen it, but it doesn't count as a fill.

I feel like Matt isn't the one they're scared off, because he's going to sigh and tell them to be more careful then probably buy them an ice-cream. Foggy is the one they're scared off :-)

I told you not to go out with bruised ribs! What were you thinking?

Hey, it was just one little mugging, it happened right on my street. what was I supposed to do? Just ignore someone calling for help?

Okay, how about you explain to Foggy that it was 'just a little mugging'?

*goes pale* No, look I'm sorry! I'll stay in the rest of the night, okay? Just don't tell Foggy!

Then all the other adult superheros are wondering what the hell a 'Foggy' is...

they're all scared of Foggy bc Foggy has this I Am Disappointed face that makes you feel terrible, like you kicked a puppy and pushed an old lady into traffic, and not even Matt is immune bc somehow it seeps into his voice. and like. Matt is willing to deploy threats of telling Foggy, who will turn that disappointed face and tone of voice and sad kicked-puppy demeanor on them and make them feel completely horrible, if it means making sure these kids stay safe

Foggy is not sure how to feel about that.

(but otherwise, Foggy is the absolute favorite. Spider-Man crawls into his apartment at 3 am to steal his soda ["Matt's fridge never has any soda" is his mournful lament] and Foggy shows up with muffins, which is a surefire way to get these kids on your side.)

I don't blame those kids! We all saw Foggy's crying sad face. It's a very sad face. :(

And why a 'Foggy's' so scary - especially if the baby superheroes turn it around onto Matt if he does something stupid too.

Or the baby superheroes are there when Matt gets hurt and some of them are arguing for hiding it from Foggy and others are saying just take their licks.

Foggy ends up stumbling on it anyway, freaks out, and proceeds to fuss over Matt and forcibly enlist them all into Operation Keep Matt from Getting Out of Bed for A Week At Least, LET THOSE RIBS HEAL DAMMIT.

Matt's just like, augh, oh my god, Foggy, no, my ribs are just fine.

(no they aren't, says Billy. I'm pretty sure they're broken.

BRUISED, Matt huffs.

BROKEN, Billy argues.)

*cackles*

"Oh my God, he looks like he lost a battle with a meat tenderizer. I'm calling Foggy."

"...what? No, wait-!"

I would love to see the first time Foggy meets the juniors. They're all sitting around with bandages and blinking while this upset, mundane lawyer walks around the apartment like he owns the place, waving his arms around and making the Devil of Hell's Kitchen wince and go on the defensive. "No, Foggy, it's fine, I got this under control - Peter, get off the ceiling -"

But Foggy keeps saying these terrifyingly adult things like child endangerment and calling their parents and secret identity, what secret identity, you might as well hang a banner outside your damn window, Murdock.

And Claire. Claire is not impressed with anyone right now. But Santino might like them, maybe he even gets pulled into the support network?

Claire is rarely ever impressed with anyone a part of the superhero set, but when they're kids then hoo boy, they're in for a lecture while she stitches them up. (they probably have, like, this system where they keep her happy by stocking her cabinets with chocolates, candy, granola bars, donuts, medical kits. once or twice a week some poor confused guy shows up like "um. miss. package for you??" and Claire looks at the address and it's like "ah. Kamala." or "oh. Young Avengers." and just takes the thing. best to just accept them.)

Santino, oh, boy. first time Santino sees them is, fortunately, not in a dumpster, but unfortunately, it's because Peter, in his delirium, did not actually land on Claire's fire escape, but on Santino's while his mother was out. somehow, though, that leads to Santino getting roped into this group of kids his age who, oh yeah, happen to be vigilantes in their spare time.

Omg yes Santino. He's shy at first, but eventually he'll just reach up to yoink one of the spiderlets off the ceiling and make them help with dinner instead of trying to web a plate like a filthy fucking animal.

At some point, someone teaches math by having a spiderlet spin the equations into a web bc they don't have a blackboard

Everyone tries to teach Santino self defense but they're terrible ("The trick is to punch hem from five feet away so there's time to dodge if it doesn't work" "Kamala I only have 24" of arm"
Maybe someone (or a few someones) takes Karen aside and gives her something better than pepper spray.

Karen is the one they go to when they have some clues and shit and she explains how to look through financial records and such like an adult instead of breaking into warehouses to punch people (and also how to ask Matt to break into warehouses)

Claire is the one they go to for advice because they have sniffed her out as the 'competent emotionally secure adult'

They've all surreptitiously taken a few N&M cards to hand out

stop webbing up plates do you know how much of a pain it is to get webbing off the good china, no, Spider-Man, it is not a cool trick it'll get us both grounded

"punch them. hard."
"I don't have your upper body strength, I can't punch them into another dimension."

they have actually gotten bailed from jail by N&M more than once because they broke into a place and got caught by the police on their way out, and eventually whenever Brett spies one of the kids in a jail cell he's just like "so how bad are you grounded this time" "really bad". eventually Karen shows them how to look through financial records for what they need instead of like, punching people in the face until they spit out answers along with teeth.

(there is also a surprisingly high amount of people who show up at Nelson & Murdock and explain that they were given a business card by one of those costumed superheroes hanging around, they have a legal problem and they need help. some of those people have bruises bc they were sort of locked in a fight.)
