  • General

    3. Subject lines should only be changed if you're posting a prompt or a fill (indicators like OP or Author!Anon should go in the body of the comment).

    4. RPF is allowed. Crossovers, characters from the extended Marvel Universe and comics canon are allowed, but must relate to the 2015 TV show in some way.

    5. Discussion not related to the prompt should be moved to the discussion/off-topic post.

    6. Drop a comment on the mod post if you have any questions or problems.

  • Prompts
    1. All types of prompts are welcome.

    2. Use the subject line for the main idea of your prompt (pairing or characters, keywords, kink).

    3. Warnings are nice, but not mandatory. Get DW Blocker if there's anything you really don't want to see.

    4. Reposted prompts are allowed once one round has passed - i.e., prompts from post #2 cannot be reposted until post #4. Please include a link to where it has been previously posted.

  • Fills
    1. Put [FILL] or something similar in the subject line when posting a fill.

    2. Announce your fill on either the Completed Fills Post or the WIP Post.

    3. Long fills can either be posted over multiple comments, or posted on AO3 and linked back here.

    4. Multiple fills are always okay.

    5. Fills can be anything! Fic, art, vids are all welcome.

    6. If it wasn't written specifically for the prompt, it doesn't count as a fill. You are welcome to provide a link to already existing fic that does fit the prompt, in case the prompter hasn't seen it, but it doesn't count as a fill.

given his abandonment issues, I doubt he'd be jumping at the chance to give anyone a legitimate excuse to leave him

da - Yeah, I have to agree with this reading of Matt on the show. He has such a hard time letting people in even a little, that once they're in, they own him heart and soul and once that happens it's the other person who needs to kick Matt to the curb because Matt's in for the long haul. Foggy, Karen, and Claire? And he only counts two as friends to Stick (for whatever reason). However, maybe Foggy thinks Matt cheated and then cheats on Matt and Matt finds out? It would be just a misunderstanding and it would be hella awful. Foggy sleeping with Lester (who will probably be canonically freaking obsessed with Daredevil)? OH MAN.

IDK, I think Matt's pretty big on self-sabotage. I could almost see him thinking his significant other needs to see that they're too good for him, so he thinks he's being nice by sleeping with someone else and giving them a reason to leave him.

Hm, maybe. Like if Matt convinced himself his partner was looking for an excuse to leave him, and he was just like well, might as well help them with that.

This. This is exactly what I was getting at, anon. Matt would be so devastated, and Foggy would feel just so guilty once he realizes his mistake. (Especially if Matt explains that whatever Foggy saw was Matt trying his darnedest NOT to cheat on Foggy, despite the fact that Frank was right there and totally into it and very persuasive...or something to that effect. After Foggy reveals what he thought was happening, Matt would end up thinking that maybe it was cheating even though he said no...) So much of the angst!
