• Prompts

  6. If it wasn't written specifically for the prompt, it doesn't count as a fill. You are welcome to provide a link to already existing fic that does fit the prompt, in case the prompter hasn't seen it, but it doesn't count as a fill.

Ooooo, the idea of Radio!Foggy is glorious.

Maybe Foggy puts out PSAs. Mirelurk infestation by the bridge, ugh stay away; rumor of a deathclaw in the old school, STAY THE FUCK AWAY; bastard raiders set up an ambush near the hospital, use caution my friends - and Matt a mysterious person makes a habit of cleaning them up.

And eventually Matt finds a radio of his own so they can talk, maybe to share notes about an encroaching gang with a mysterious, un-named backer that has everyone really nervous. But Foggy's pretty wary about the Devil at first because - okay, he's hearing a bunch of stories about how this guy is saving a lot of settlers from seriously bad situations (even Karen, God that was too close), but he's also hearing terrifying tales about what this dude is doing to the raiders when he finally catches them (they call him the Devil, how horrifying do you have to be for raiders to call you the Devil). So Foggy is witholding judgement, okay. He's not jumping on the savior train just yet.

But Matt keeps saving people and they keep talking while Foggy's off the air. They share info - Matt passes along warnings about new danger spots, Foggy tells him about the three kids who disappeared last week and a bunch of other mishaps occuring across the Wasteland because his gossip network is wide and frankly a little alarming.

And yeah, the Devil on the other end of the radio is the kind of crazy suicidal bastard who takes on deathclaws, what the hell, but Foggy starts to realize that he's also good intentioned and really kind of a dork and maybe, maybe he starts to like him a little bit. A tad. And Matt? Well, Matt finally found someone he just really likes listening to. :D

(And bumping into! Because Matt totally uses a civilian identity when he's in town and happens to run into Foggy with slightly suspicious frequency for a blind guy.)

Oh man a Fallout crossover would be amazing, I might try and take a stab at this later.

Augh! Fallout is my favourite series and I am so on board for this!!
