Because my innocent(?) brain misread an earlier prompt and it was confusing.

Honestly, I don't see a were-ferret as anything odd.

But then, I have spent a lot of time with Due South. Magical realism and the quirky humor means when you get to a fic with Fraser as a were-otter, it's "Yeah, I can see that." and then later Stargate Atlantis (crack!fic ahoy, what haven't those boys been turned into by now?) well, I'd be surprised if a kink meme didn't surprise me from time to time.

Aaaa, oh god. I can't wait to see how they end up working this out. I feel so bad for both of them. :(

So this would be Foggy finding out that Matt is engaging in risky sexual behavior, and offering to help him out as a safety measure (and possibly more)?
Medium angst at most bc of Matt putting himself at risk, but the sex with foggy being nice and everyone is informed and consenting?

Swear words and music are kept in different parts of the brain. A relative of mine had a bad stroke that totally fucked the language center of her brain. She could say six words (two of them obscene) but could sing a limited number of childrens songs to communicate with her daughter.
It was interesting. She couldn't say any of the words in 'Twinkle little star' on their own. She could sing most of them, but only in the context of that song.
Also There was a pastor in her therapy group who (to his frustration) kept swearing without thinking, even though he never did before his stroke.

I looked around. It seems that teaching manuals vary (though all recommend being able to use both hands just in case). People who teach themselves tend to use their dominant hands. Whatever works

Stick appears to be left handed. He canes with his left hand. (Though again, Matt was probably taught at the hospital while god only knows where Stick learned)

Idk. Basically we just don't know, so this prompt still needs to be filled. Idk maybe something about mastering proper lefty writing, only to be blinded and never be seen writing again. Stick instructing him how to use it to his advantage, using weapons left handed, an AU where he starts his own store for left-handed supplies.

OP left it purposefully vague so that the potential author!anon can write what they're inspired to. Tbh I am slightly partial to 'previous sexual assault', but since I come from a very Catholic country, I know that Catholic sex-ed (or lack thereof) can be equally scarring.

Mostly the 'during', but some comfort in the aftermath of all that angst would be appreciated too.

oh goshhhh i love this fic so so much. i feel so bad for both of them, but i'm also really happy that they have each other. ugh. such lovely writing, honestly. i can't wait for the next part <3
