Threaded | Flat

Matt and Frank are working together against a tough baddie when Frank gets knocked out by a blow to the head. Matt fends off the bad guy long enough to get Frank to a safe house and take care of him.

However, when Frank wakes up, he does not recognize Matt. He seems very confused about where he is and why he's hurt, so Matt asks him several questions.

"What year is it?"

"I think...it's 2006, isn't it?"

"Are you in the Marines?"

"No, but I used to be."

"Who do you live with?"

"My wife and kids."

Cue Matt trying to slowly re-introduce Frank to the defining tragedy of his life while also trying to protect everyone from a bad guy he knows he can't handle alone.

If you go the Matt/Frank route, please don't have the romance be based on Frank misunderstanding things as soon as he wakes up. If you want them to have been in an established allies-with-benefits-but-we-don't-actually-care-about-each-other-until-we-do sort of thing before the accident, that'd be great...but Frank forgets about that, too.

Bonus:
-Frank visits one or more people he remembers being friends with before, and they all hate/are terrified of him. He eventually comes to the realization that Matt is practically the only friend he has left. Cue protectiveness.
-Matt struggles with whether it would be more morally right to tell Frank the truth about the Punisher or to try to prevent him from ever reverting back to his old ways. Double bonus if he talks to Father Lantom about it.
-Frank never gets his memories back, but he still ends up becoming a version of the Punisher again, for different reasons this time (probably ones involving Matt).

I love happy poly fics, but to be fair, it's really not the socially accepted norm. Certainly not the media endorsed one (subtext aside ;))

I want to see the poly relationship form - does a pair become a threesome? Or does it go zero to three because no-one wants to leave out the other? I want to see some of them struggling with it because it's not how they were taught to think relationships worked or how they thought of themselves. I want to see someone else handling it surprisingly well. I want it to cause some difficulties (hospital visitation rights?). I want them to make the decision to either keep it quiet or to tell people because both have repercussions. I want someone not in the relationship to react really badly and I want someone to react shockingly well.

I'd prefer Matt/Foggy/Karen, but switch it out if you feel compelled to.

AU where Matt has powers but is not Daredevil.

So, poor Matt has been in love with Foggy for years, literally years, but he's never managed to work up the courage to actually ask Foggy out. (He's gotten close a few times, but he always chickened out in the end, or been stymied by Foggy getting involved with somebody else, normally Marci.) Foggy remains blissfully ignorant of his friend's real feelings. Then Nelson & Murdock becomes a reality, and Matt decides that he should wait to do any asking out until the firm is more steady on its feet.

Enter Karen. Foggy's immediately smitten, and it doesn't take long for Karen to realize that Foggy is the best person ever and start dating him. Matt feels left out, as Foggy and Karen spending more time together means that both of them are spending less time with him. Add to that the fact that he's absolutely down-and-out brokenhearted, and it quickly becomes apparent to Karen and Foggy that something is up.

They talk it out, and eventually they coax Matt into confessing his feelings. Nobody's sure what to do, but after talking about it on their own, Karen and Foggy decide that they would both be okay with inviting Matt to join their relationship.

Matt's reaction to that suggestion is...unexpected.

Brett and Matt loving Claire's breasts, to the point of making her come otherwise untouched.

Bonus for nipple piercings.

Foggy has an unusual erogenous zone. Any finds it.

Does anyone remember this show from the early aughties? Basically, a lawyer inherits his family's bowling alley and ends up running the bowling alley and giving law assistance out of it.

Matt and/or Foggy inherits a gym/butcher shop/small business of author's choice and they shrug and set up Nelson and Murdock to run out of it.

"Y'all motherfuckers need Jesus."

Just run with it. As cracky as you want to go. Any character, any rating, gen or Matt/Foggy(/Karen) preferred.

Preferably not tearing down someone's life choices but just because someone did/said something weird.

I'm currently rewatching the series and I've been hit by just how often Matt is hurt/emotionally unstable and I just...want more of that.

Literally anything will do, I've burnt through all the fic here and on ao3 and all I want is more of Matt being hurt lol

matt wakes up in a female body. preferably only matt's affected out of the avocado trio but it might be a more far-reaching thing across the city or it might be just matt. now matt has to adjust to his balance and center of gravity being off, his reach not being what he expects, the fact that a bra is necessary if he's going to be doing any heavy acrobatics... all the awkward adjustment period. all of it.

i'm assuming he'd be too weirded out to do much self-exploration but maybe foggy can convince him into it FOR SCIENCE? :D

Father Lantom is researching news pertaining to Daredevil when he stumbles across a DD fanbase. Could be the Kink Meme, could be AO3, could be Tumblr, whatever.

I don't care how or why, just make it happem because DUM-E is one of my favorite MCU characters and he never appears in ANY of the Avengers crossovers and I just have too many goddamn feels about that adorable stupid arm on wheels and want him to meet my favorite new sad puppy who is sad.

Maybe Foggy is Torts and Matt is Criminal Justice and they don't know really know each other other than being in the same faculty but their students are like, "OMG, THEY'RE PERFECT TOGETHER!"

Cue matchmaking.

Matt is an Avenger and the Avengers consider him as someone respectable and see:

Daredevil as 'hurt, hurt, hurt, devilish smirk, hurt, hurt, hurt'
Matthew Murdock as 'calm, calm, calm, charming, calm, calm, calm'

But then Foggy appears and one "Hey, Matty." was all it took for the calm collected, devilish Daredevil to be all, 'cuddles, cuddles, cuddles, pout, cuddles, cuddles, cuddles'

and Everyone's all, "We need to warn poor Franklin Nelson about DD's real personality!!1!"

And Foggy's like, "No, it's you people who don't know him."

Someone (preferably a character who's already appeared on the show) develops mind control powers and puts them to work on Matt. (If it's somebody on the good side, like Karen or Foggy, then maybe it starts out more innocently, like influencing Matt to not put himself in danger so much.) In comics canon, Matt has great defense against mind control, but over time, this person is able to chip away at his resistance until he can't fight back in any substantive way any longer.

Then things move to the bedroom, and they find out that Matt still has a little bit of fight left in him. It doesn't last long.

Foggy and Matt are in a non sexual D/s relationship. As a reward for not getting hurt while out fighting crime, Dom!Foggy takes sub!Matt to a private club for as much sex as other Doms are willing to give him.

Matt is in a relationship that he considers to be very serious with character-of-choice. However, he eventually comes to learn that this person has been cheating on him for some time, and he was never able to notice because he was always distracted by Daredeviling and/or he trusted the person so implicitly that he never questioned their white lies. Cue Matt being heartbroken and blaming himself, trying to win the other person back any way he can think of.

Basically, Wesley didn't give Karen a chance at anything. He simply violated her.

Let's have a twist. After FIsk, Nelson and Murdock gets a lot of attention. Good kind of attention. They quickly have more cases than they can handle. Nelson & Murdock quickly becomes Nelson, Murdock and Associates.

Karen goes through so many titles in such a short period of time that she stopped updating her resume.

Cue: Tony Stark/Avenger/Famous person hiring them and the two Avocados wondering when they hit it big.

In addition to Matt being the Devil,Foggy also has to with armed,red suit wearing,fourth wall breaking, overexcited wierdo coming and going into his apartment.Crashing on the couch,eating his food,hijacking his TV,and being a general pain in the ass.

It's a tough life.

Tldr;Deadpool won't leave Foggy alone.

+ If Matt is visibly Not Okay with the morals his teacher seems to exhibit in the courtroom, but knows he has a lot to learn from her.

++ If Matt sleeps with one of the other five. Eg. Connor after they bond over how much they hate each other.

+++ If Matt and Foggy both constantly surprise their (richer, more upper-class) group members by being amazing. Especially Matt, who seems to Know Things (like when someone is lying) for reasons no one can figure out.

++++ If Matt (and Foggy?) are there the night of the murder. Especially if Matt outs himself in the fight with Sam, but it still ends the same way (Wes doing the deed)???

Due to some reason or other, there are now multiple Foggies running around Hell's Kitchen and all of them want to fill all of Matt's...holes.

Matt doesn't know that he now owns a daredevil necktie, a daredevil cellphone charm/cover, a cartoon daredevil sleep shirt, a knitted daredevil colored scarf and random avocado covered pajamas.

People just think he's a fan and Karen thinks it's sweet and buys a knitted daredevil cap w/pom herself and Foggy's obsessed with buying Matt things.

Marci pretends not to know any of them.

Foggy's niece is visiting him, but when she suddenly disappears it's an extremely desperate (and feeling hypocritical) Foggy who asks Matt for help finding her. ("Is that...a shirt of her you're holding out to me, Foggy?' 'Yes. Do your bloodhound thing.')

Only Matt (after trying to find her and having no success whatsoever) has the terrible suspicion that she didn't simply get lost but may have been taking by this trafficking ring he has been tracking over the last few days. And now time is running out before she'll be moved from the city and he'll have to move fast.

Clearly, the most rational and quickest course of action is to let himself be taken as a victim.

Your choice of whether he lets himself be kidnapped as 'clumsy Daredevil tonight, whoops' or 'Mike Murdock, why yes, I'll follow you into that dark alley, strange guy from a bar, I hope you won't do anything to a pretty blind guy, right...?' but either way, Matt ends up with the rest of the kidnapped people, ready to be shipped out to wherever.

At which point it's head-cracking time.

(I absolutely wouldn't mind if of *course* not everything goes according to plan and Matt gets into some pretty dicey situations while there, maybe even partially stripped, photographed for sellers, and/or groped against his will, but please no actual non-con - looking for kickass-DD, not poor traumatized Matt at the end of the day^^°)

BONUS if afterwards Matt somehow can't get away from the scene (either the police is there too quick for him to disappear unnoticed, or maybe Foggy's niece is too terrified to let go of him, or there's another reason he can't leave) and he's therefore hearded back to the police station with the rest of the victims. ('Is there anyone we can call for you, sir? Our psychologist really does not advise any victims of recent trauma to return to their homes alone. Maybe especially with your, uh, condition, I mean....'

Matt: *draped in orange blanket. nursing a coffee and wearing borrowed police-issue sunglasses* *heaves a VERY long-suffering sigh* 'Same guy as for her. If you could call one Foggy Nelson, please...'

Double Bonus if, when Foggy comes to the station to pick them both up (thankfully not-that-traumatized niece still babbling about DD coming to save them all) he is absolutely torn between OMG MATT THANK YOU SO MUCH and MATT WHAT THE HELL I DID NOT MEAN FOR YOU TO LET YOURSELF GET *KIDNAPPED* WHAT IS THE MATTER WITH YOU THAT *THIS* IS YOUR MODUS OPERANDI' and then he takes them both home for comfort cuddles because this at least is his superpower.
