And Foggy takes care of him for a few days. Matt is really really against going to the hospital, especially when his fever gets so high he isn't connected to reality. So after caring for his every need ha has to figure out how to get Matt to a hospital so the fever doesn't cause permanent brain damage.

And now I want fanfic with that set-up. (Basically, someone puts out an ad looking for a roommate, gets one, and after a year of resistance, they fall madly in love.) Matt and Foggy were the first ones who poppped into mind, given that they're roommates in canon, but if any other pairing strikes your fancy, feel free to do something different!

In the comics, Matt gets caught as Daredevil and taken to the interdimensional prison until he willingly unmasks. While being told this this, he spits a silver dollar at Reed Richards and basically tells him there are 29 more coming.

Matt, Foggy, Karen and Brett (and maybe Marci) are in a platonic poly-community.
They go out on dates with each other, there's hand-holding, cuddling, bed/food/etc sharing, helping each other clean and cook and do their taxes, and being each other's medical contact person, but no sex. (If they do, it's more of an occasionally happening friends with benefits arrangement thing and they can date/have sex with other people)
It works for them. Then Matt invites Claire to join.

(Semi inspired by my own prompt on a previous page - "Matt sent me, called me a avocado and said That you and I could be weird little avocados together.")

So if MCU!Karen comes to the early death of her 616 counterpart, you still gotta figure she shouldn't just be fridged; she should have badass heroic death. So somebody tell us, how did it happen? Did she save Matt and Foggy? Did she save a group of people? Did she save Hell's Kitchen? Did she save the world? If Bullseye killed her, did she at least take him down with her? Did she take Fisk down with her? Or how about Thanos?
Matt and Foggy are both devastated, of course(all for OT3 or Karen/Foggy), and Matt probably thinks It Should've Been Him(tm), but they should both ultimately respect her choice to go out heroically.

So I saw this on Tumblr:

"i need a highschool movie with elden where he’s the unpopular boy the popular girls pick as their ‘project’ and they make him lose weight and give him a makeover and a blowout to get the popular jock boy but in the end elden wins over his heart with his charming personality and he gains back the weight and stops wearing makeup and goes back to who he used to be and the jock is still in love with him and they win homecoming king and queen and kiss under the lights on the dance floor and everybody is happy (including me)".

So why don't prompt it?

I've noticed a serious lack of Elektra on this meme. Additionally, ever since the casting news broke, I've been dying for some Frank/Elektra.

Come on, anons. To morally dubious AT BEST people who are fed up with this do-gooder Daredevil dude. They team up, one thing leads to another and they end up a master assassin couple.

Matt starts dating someone. Foggy isn't sure who because his boyfriend is always busy when Foggy is coming over. Eventually Foggy meets him and discovers its freaking Loki. Loki, - who Matt has no idea who he is visually and who can 'hide' some of the aspects of his form from Matt senses.

Foggy understandably freaks out. Matt is confused until it's explained and promptly goes on the defense.

And Loki...Loki's.

Or anyone else can 'reveal' that Matt is dating Loki via confrontation - i.e. Avenger, random citizen, whatever.

(I imagine Loki would have a disguise when he and Matt are out.)

The kind rich people pay thousands of dollars to take to the fanciest events and happenings in the city, just on the off-chance Matt will let them touch his butt. He's still Daredevil, except he's much more protective of his body and quite seductive towards his enemies before he breaks their limbs. Throws 'em off guard.

Foggy and Matt are still BFFs; Nelson and Murdock is just now Stahl and Nelson, with Karen as their secretary. Any attempts to make fun of Matt's career are stopped with the fact that he's the only one in the room without any student loan debt. Marci curses his existence and helps him find the perfect clothing for his job.

+ Matt loves his job, as he greatly enjoys sex and most of his clientele are perfectly good people; the ones that aren't...well, people aren't nearly as protective of their secrets in the afterglow.
++ One of his clients is an Avenger, who mostly pay him for massages and someone to talk to.
+++ Seducing Wesley.
++++ Landman and Zack's client list and Matt's client list have surprising overlap. Foggy can't get over this.

At some point Foggy gets turned into a vampire. Matt freaks out but Foggy takes it fairly good humor. They change the hours their practice is open (see, Matt? I told you 24 hours attorneys meant more clients) and buy a lot sunlight blocking curtains. Matt hides all his crosses and erradicates any pencil or stake-like thing.

But the really bad thing? Matt can't hear Foggy's heartbeat anymore.

AU where instead of putting on a mask and punching criminals, Matt puts on a mask and rocks the fuck out as Daredevil in costumed band with a huge cult following. (Think Aquabats. Or maybe Peelander Z. Definately don't think GWAR.) He stiil has tendancy to show up a work injured from insane stage antics, and falls asleep at his desk because being in band is full-time job in itself.

Foggy is secretly a huge fan and has no idea his sweet snarky partner is actually the badass rocker Daredevil, until he finds Matt passed out drunk/injured in his apartment in full costume.

Petition for there to be a fic where whenever Foggy wins an argument using his lawyer skills he says, 'Lawyered.'

Petition for Matt yelling at Foggy that lawyered isn't a real word.

I'd be happy to have something along the lines of angst, h/c and tragic ending, better if worse than final canon-verse

it could be a new cologne, or he could get something spilled on him during a dust-up, or something. plot device away! but suddenly, foggy smells really really good to matt. other people may notice foggy's new 'cologne' but matt, with his senses... yep.

bonus for sub-spaced, glazed-eyes slack-mouthed matt. :D

... Matt Murdock with cancer. I mean really, what did you expect? :D

Matt gets diagnosed with some type of cancer and doesn't have a very good prognosis. He finds his life spiralling out of control, both as a lawyer and a vigilante. He becomes even more aggressive toward bad guys, he's irritable/forgetful/inattentive during his day job, and he gives up any pretense of caring about what happens to himself, because he doesn't think he has much time left.

+10 if he tries to hide it from Foggy and Karen (and fails, of course)
+100 if even the bad guys start to get a little concerned about his behavior
+10000 if Fisk and Vanessa are involved somehow
+100000000000000000000 if it has a happy ending and he ends up beating the cancer

Ok so I'm on board the Brett/ Foggy ship now, and if there's only two other people with me then so be it!

I want to see a fic where Brett and Foggy's mothers (or Foggy's step Mom specifically since Rosalind abandoned him) force them to hangout with each other for most of their childhoods and they're frenemies and everything but the older they get the less time their mothers force them to spend together and when they finally move on the college and/or police academy Brett starts making up reasons to spend time with Foggy because Foggy isn't *as* annoying as he used to be, and his mom will kill him if he doesn't keep an eye on him, especially after Foggy ends up in the hospital.

Then after a while they start dating-not dating.

I just want a Brett/Foggy fic, please!!!!

An injury or something prevents Matt from being Daredevil and from getting his normal amount of exercise for an extended period. Like he breaks a leg, maybe. He starts to get at least a little out of shape.

Foggy isn't surprised that the forced superhero vacation is making Matt depressed, but he's really confused when Matt starts to shy away from Foggy's touches and doesn't want Foggy to see him naked. Matt will offer to give Foggy blowjobs or handjobs, but he won't let Foggy return the favor in any way.

This is because Matt thinks Foggy won't be attracted to him anymore, and when Foggy finds out, he becomes dead set on proving how much he loves Matt's body just the way it is.

And it would be great if they had an exchange sort of like this:
Foggy: Okay, but I'm out of shape and you're attracted to me, right?
Matt: That's different.
Foggy: How?
Matt: IT JUST IS, IDK

Daredevil and Spiderman know each other, but Matt and Peter do not. That is, until they end up messaging on okcupid and arrange a date. The second Peter sits down, Matt knows he's Spiderman, but he doesn't know if he should bring it up... They end up having a damn good time.

I'd prefer if Matt did tell Peter that they already knew each other, but I don't mind if it's before/during/after the date. (oh, and please no sex)

One day Foggy finds Matt dead on the floor in costume after a night out daredevilling. And I mean definitely dead, stone cold, bled out never getting up again dead. Foggy now has a decision to make. If he calls the cops, and they find Matt in his suit, that casts doubt over every case he and Foggy ever worked, Foggy could well be disbarred, all their clients would be in trouble, and some criminals might even come after him and Karen out of spite even with Matt dead. So Foggy strips Matt out of the costume and hides it before the police arrive.

Time goes by and Foggy has a really hard time dealing. Matt's suit is still sitting at the bottom of his wardrobe, and Foggy can't stop thinking about it. He starts going to the gym and working out. Brushing up on half remembered judo skills. Then one night he puts on Matt's suit and goes out as daredevil. He half expects to get himself killed but it actually goes very well. He keeps doing it.

No-one realizes Daredevil is a different person, for a while. Then a superhero Matt used to team up with asks Foggy for a team up and it doesn't take them long to figure out something is wrong. They jump to the conclusion that Foggy is a villain that has hidden Daredevil and is now impersonating him for nefarious reasons. They drag him back to a safehouse/avengers tower/wherever and interrogae him. Foggy then breaks down in tears and tells them everything
Bonus points if they initially refuse to believe it/don't want to believe he's dead, and its only after checking Foggy's story that they are forced to accept it.

So Matt realizes someone he loves is being stalked. It's all legal, calls and messages and tiny reminders that the other person is there. Matt can feel how horrified the victim is. And Matt gets angry.

For once, I'm not asking for porn. Write me something violent anons.

Somehow, the Batfamily end up in New York and figure that it's not Gotham but there's probably some crime and they might as well carry on with the vigilantism here.

Cue Red Hood and Nightwing ending up in Hell's Kitchen

Foggy has a very powerful mutant ability that he never uses. He's never told anyone, not his parents, not Matt. See, Foggy's power is the ability to cause pain. He can will someone to experience the most brutal agony just by thinking about it. He can tear people down with the most vicious of words because he knows exactly what to say to destroy someone utterly. Foggy can't understand what cruel joke of nature would give him that sort of power, because what the hell does that say about him, being able to deliberately cause others pain.

Then one day, he's put in a situation where his gift is the only thing that can get him and Matt out of trouble. What does he do?
