Obviously, this is a sign of the Apocalypse. Everyone is creeped out, heroes, villains, random hot dog sellers.

And that's why you always build multiple elevator systems so that the lobby doesn't connect to the avenging floors

Just give me Matt taking Claire apart with his hands to Claire's utter delight. They both get off on the dichotomy of his fighters hands working her over (and over and over). Multiple and/or forced orgasms a plus. Just give me the gratuitous use of Matt's hands and fingers.

I moonlight as a fanfic writer, but researching Christian eschatology is literally my day job.

I leave the plot, pairing, and basically everything up to you. Just give me Matt being BFFs with the amazing Doreen Green. Maybe they met through the Avengers, or she needed legal advice because *handwavey plot reasons*, or Tippy-Toe brought Doreen to see the nice blind man who feeds squirrels in the parks even though he's not really supposed to.

However it happens, just give me Doreen being BFFs with Matt. Bonus points for Doreen also being BFFs with Foggy and Karen.

Foggy: Man, i can't find Matt in this huge crowd.
Karen: Wait, I got an idea. *sucks in breath* FOGGY NELSON SUCKS!

A second passes.

Matt from somewhere: WHO THE FUCK SAID THAT?!
Karen: Found him.

Do you have any preference as to why he is happy? Is it something legitimate like someone gave him a nice birthday party, fucked up like some villain is putting drugs in his drinks, or did his brain finally crack under the pressure and he's careening towards some sort of an episode?

DA, but important question: when you say Crowley, do you mean the crowley from spn or the crowley from good omens? because from what i understand, crowley from spn is very snarky but is moderately terrifying when he choses to be, but like. crowley from good omens threatens his houseplants and regularly eats dinner with an angel and literally went up against satan with a tire iron.

basically a demon like crowley from good omens would be convinced that matt could be doing a lot more things as a lawyer than he ever could as a vigilante and would basically try to get matt to be as much of an annoyance as possible because that's his idea of a bad day's work and honestly that would be fucking hilarious

this gets to me because I am really stuck on the idea of Karen and Foggy swing dancing

So, say Foggy gets Karen to dance with him, and Matt's kind of flummoxed because unlike bump-n-grind, this is dancing he can totally sense and he's kind of like "what the hell, I wanna do that", I mean, it's almost like fighting, if he can ninja fight, he can swing, can't he? Sure, Karen doesn't actually know how to swing so Foggy'll be the one that has to teach him, but

Matt’s faith has kept him going for as long as he can remember. He hadn’t had a perfect childhood, but he had always prayed before bed. And then, after the accident and his father’s death, he had only started to pray more. Life had gone on.

Going to church helps with the guilt. He does terrible things, awful things, and even without the mask, he is a bad person. He is a sinner and he has so much to atone for—but he tries. He confesses as often as he can, and he tries to do better.

But the guilt only gets worse. He still lies to Foggy, even with the truth about his secret identity out there. He lies to Karen even more. He hides bruises and scars, and he lies and says I’m fine. He does unspeakable things at night.

Matt didn’t use to believe in the death penalty. He used to think that no one deserved that, but being Daredevil blurred the lines a little. If the villains deserved the pain and suffering, why didn’t they deserve death? He didn’t want them to live, to continue on with their vile existence, so why should he let them? They were at his mercy, he could deliver justice, and—and he’s disgusted with himself.

The first time it happens, he doesn’t even do it on purpose. He hits too hard, pulls back too slow, and the man’s breathing ceases. His heart stops, slowly, so slowly… His skin grows cold alarmingly fast.

The next day, he finds himself at church, but he does not confess.

Forgive me, father, for I have sinned—but there is no forgiving this, he knows that much. There is no going back; there is no penance that could absolve this sin.

It happens again, easier this time.

Then again. And again.

The prayers don’t come quite as easily. Why would God be listening? Why would God care? If anything, God should condemn him, should smite him where he kneels, should unleash his wrath—

Father Lantom worries, especially when Matt’s visits become a little less frequent. Foggy and Karen worry too, but he lies, piling on guilt, and blames his odd behavior on tiredness. Claire asks about all the blood.

God, there is so much blood on his hands.

A month passes, and he does not set foot inside a church. Once, he stands outside, but where it used to feel familiar and comforting, all he feels now is judgment and a waiting sentence. He does not go to confession.

Caffeine keeps him going. The adrenaline that he finds when he lets out his rage, fists pummeling into warm flesh, keeps him going. The blood staining his hands and his soul keeps him going. He subsists on lies and guilt and anger—anger at the world, at himself, at his god for deserting him.

Matt stops praying.

The world goes on.

granted the winter soldier comes with a lot of bullshit/depersonalization so not QUITE but a lot of the stuff he learned there would probably be useful when dealing with Matt (do not get into arms reach until the asset has indicated you are recognized = Matt being disoriented and taking a swing)and probably other skill sets that could be adapted to dealing with disoriented superpowered people
